Original professionally rebuilt 389 engine:code 11H = 389/267 hp cid with nos Rochester 2bbl carb, aluminized single exhaust and rebuilt Roto Hydramatic 10 ("Slim Jim") 3 speed automatic transmission. Car is finished in correct acrylic lacquer "Q code" (Gulfstream Aqua) paint along with new correct black Cordova (vinyl) top. Mr. Sturgess was the sales manager in a GM dealership in Michigan. He traded in his '62 Tempest Lemans and factory ordered this '64 2+2 car as a full size family car. 47 years later it was professionally restored the same way Mr. Sturgess ordered it- frame up & very specific to detail in using all available NOS parts & authorized GM licensed parts only. This car was restored for the Pontiac Purist- as a true family car.
