Although they sold 21,380 Ford Thunderbirds in 1957, only a few came with the coveted dual four-barrel carburetor set up known as the E Code. This week, a rare Raven Black 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Bird was listed by P.J.'s Auto World in Clearwater, Florida. They say only about 1,499 were built with the 312 ci Y Block V8 engine factory rated at 270 horsepower, with Holley dual-quad carburetors, aluminum intake and dual exhaust with through-the-bumper chrome tips. This one also came with a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, cold air conditioning, 14" wire wheels with Goodyear wide white wall bias-ply tires. They say it has a color matched porthole hardtop and convertible soft top, fender skirts, chrome driver's mirror, wind deflectors, power windows, power seat, with black and white two tone interior. This is the one.

Classic Car Marketing in Southern California has rolled out a special offering this week. They just listed a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 426 Max Wedge Super Stock car which they say "appears to be a factory Super Stock." They say it has all of the Super Stock ID options. None of these cars came with factory documentation, but it has the factory cut outs, dual battery cables and Hurst shifter. They say it also has rebuilt carburetors, new fuel tank, new battery and new tires. You should have it inspected by a Mopar expert to get your full value on this one. These don't come along very often.

You may have seen this 1969 Pontiac Trans Am in magazine articles. It is one of the promo cars which Pontiac provisioned out to T&G Racing to promote the brand-new Trans Am model in the Quebec-Ottawa area of Canada. The car remained on MSO until 1978 and still retains 100% of its original drivetrain, original paint, original interior, and extensive factory documentation. It is being offered for sale through REV! Muscle Cars, an automotive broker representing the owner. It was inspected by historian Herb Adams, and he says it is one of the last six cars to be sent to T&G Racing in Canada for setup. They say the drivetrain is 100% original from the L74 - 400 HO 4-barrel, to the 4-speed manual shift transmission, and 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear end.

July is fast approaching and that means the big event of the summer, the GAA Classic Auction, is set for July 21-23 at The Auto Palace. And as we look over their auction inventory for next month we are impressed with how many desirable classic cars are being offered at No Reserve. A good number of the 650 cars to be sold there will have the No Reserve sign on as they cross the auction block. Here are some examples.

Shocker! This week we discovered that the GAA Classic Auction will sell this 1972 DeTomaso Pantera at No Reserve when it convenes, July 21-23, at The Auto Palace in Greensboro, North Carolina. They say it has had a no expense spared restoration. It comes with a binder of documentation. It has air conditioning and an upgraded electrical system. The wheels are impressive Campagnolo style polished aluminum with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Could you be lucky enough to be the high bidder, and take this one home?

Camaros are so important in the collector car market you don't expect to see a 1968 Camaro RS being offered at No Reserve at an auction like the GAA Classic Auction this summer. But that's what we will see when we go to Greensboro next month. You have to look at the dozens of detailed photos at the link here. That paint is over 20 years old. Can you believe it? That is how well this car has been cared for. Only a two owner car since new, you could be the third owner.

Have you always wanted to own a real classic Indian motorcycle? Well, this 1948 Indian Chief will be offered for sale next month at the GAA Classic Auction. And, yes, it will cross the auction block at No Reserve. Coming out of long-term ownership in a private collection, it will be offered for sale for the first time in a while. They say it was a high end restoration done right, although older now. Check out dozens of detailed photos at the link here. It will be sold early in the sale on Saturday, July 23.

When Pontiac stopped production on the Trans Am in 2002 little did we know that it would never be produced again. Although GM would later bring back the Camaro, Pontiac itself ceased to exist after 2010. This 2002 Pontiac Trans Am 35th Anniversary Edition turned out to be the last special edition Trans Am to be produced. The special yellow color included the WS6 package and Ram Air. This very desirable Trans Am will be offered at No Reserve at the GAA Classic Auction in Greensboro next month. Can't wait.

Carroll Street Auto in Manchester, New Hampshire has a 1968 Pontiac Bonneville for sale. According to the ad copy it is barely broken in after all these years. It still has just 12k original miles, per Carroll Street Auto's description. And Pontiac's top-of-the-line luxury car is loaded with options. In Aegean Blue paint, they say it looks the part. We are excited to bring our readers the info on this 1964 Chevy Nova. These cars are really popular in the collector car market right now, and this one is priced to sell. We have not inspected the car yet, so you might want to order a pre-purchase inspection. From the description it sounds like the car might be way better than the pictures show. It is being sold through an internet broker called Haggle Me. Their client told them it is "mint and very dependable. Drive this car anywhere without worries!" It has a 350 ci V8 SBC motor with an automatic transmission. They say it has lots of paperwork to support the car. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. It might be the sleeper find of the week. The asking price is $18,500.

Haggle Me also posted some interesting prices on very rare classic and antique cars this week. This one is a 1930 Plymouth Model 30U Sedan. They say the car is all original and in great condition. As always, you should have a pre-purchase inspection done on the car in order to find out what "great condition" means. But in this case they tell us that the body has been stripped to bare metal before prepping and sealing for paint. They have a photo portfolio of the work as it was being done. (That is always a good indication that the work was being done right.) This might be that starter car you were looking for. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. The asking price is $14,900.

When you find a street rod that is completely done and looks this good, you don't expect to get it for less than $30,000. But here one is. This 1934 Ford Coupe is being offered for sale at Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. Not only does it have striking flamed paint and a good looking body, but it will also has the interior to match. Classic Auto Mall tells us "it will provide years of carefree enjoyment." The car was constructed with Street Beast fiberglass body, rack n pinion steering and a Mustang II type front suspension with a rear 4-link. Have it inspected. But hurry. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday with an asking price of $25,500.

Here's one you don't see very often anymore. It is a 1960 Ford F100 Pickup being offered for sale at Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles, California. It is a very used old driver quality truck that looks as though it remains in original type condition. Finished in Delta green with a gray interior, it comes equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, V8 engine, black floor mats, wood bed floor, Firestone Destination LE tires, Kenwood AM/FM radio, chrome bumper, beauty rings, and quad headlamps. Included in the sale are receipt copies totaling over $19,000 for work completed from May 2021 through February 2022. You might say this is a lotta' truck for the money. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Tueday. Their asking price is only $14,750.

It must be a big week for Beverlly Hills Car Club it seems. They also have this 1955 MG TF Roadster for sale. This is the 1500 cc version, in Old English white with a red interior. It comes with a 4-speed manual transmission and a Volvo engine (it would be interesting to hear the story on how that happened.) It has dual carburetors, wood steering wheel, Tonneau cover, soft top, and wire wheels. Beverly HIlls Car Club says it is a fun car to drive and exciting to get reactions from passers by. You will get a "thumbs up" from all who see it. They tell us it is mechanically sound. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Wednesday. The asking price is $18,750.

Although they did not get much respect in the collector car market until recently, it looks like first generation Pontiac Firebirds are finally catching up to their Camaro cousins in valuation. This 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible is one of the few you will find today for less than $20,000.That is in part because this is a six cylinder Firebird. It is being offered for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. They say that the car runs and drives, but is probably due for a comprehensive restoration. You can have it inspected to get a better idea of what to expect. It will be our DEAL of the DAY later next week. The asking price is $19,900.

Here is another offering from Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles. The 1966 Mustang is priced well below what the average value is on these first generation Mustang coupes. Again, that is partly because this is another 6 cylinder version of the early Mustang. It is available in maroon with a beige interior, and comes equipped with an automatic transmission, inline-6 engine, air conditioning, power steering, center console and Cooper Cobra tires. Take a look through the photos in the ad.
