Here is a rare one indeed. This week Flemings Ultimate Garage in Rockville, Maryland has listed a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special for sale. At the time of this reading, they are still researching the car and going through the copious documentation and paperwork. This Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special was actually sourced from a collector in their local community in Maryland. The ad is so fresh that the descriiption has not yet been written. The current title was issued in 2016 and shows 43,525 actual miles when recorded. Flemings Ultimate Garage is currently taking pictures of all the numbers on the car to publish in the ad next week. As rare as it is, it is entirely possible that the car will be sold before they can publish the photos. Keep watching their ad page.
The rare special edition Mach 1 is currently listed in Terry Fritts’s Twister Special Registry. This one has the 428 Super Cobra Jet engine with all the performance goodies that came with it. Only 48 were produced that way. Flemings tells us the paint is mostly original, and “it really looks nice.” All Twister Specials were painted Grabber Orange with black interiors. Because it was an SCJ it came with the Drag Pack option, 3.91 geared Traction-Lock rear axle, functional Ram Air Shaker hood, dual racing mirrors, hood tie-downs and a tranny cooler. All of them had SCJ competition suspensions and Deluxe bucket seats. Half of the Twister Specials came with 4-speeds and half with a C6 automatic transmission. This one has the automatic.
You don't find these on the open market very often. Be sure to read the full story on this Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special on today's MyDreamCar.online blog page. It has more production numbers and history of the Twister Special program. Then tell us about your Mach 1 Twister Special stories in the comments section below the article.

They just told us that one of our favorite collector car events is on for this summer. The Raleigh Classic Auction will be held August 21-22, 2020 in Youngsville, North Carolina. It is an encouraging that we might still be able to have car events this year. Our readers know that the Raleigh Classic is one of our favorites. This auction tends to bring in some top collector cars, many with low miles. For instance, this 1956 Ford Victoria with the 1950's tutone red and black finish is said to have just 14,785 actual miles. Powered by a 312 ci V8, it has been treated to a no expense spared frame-off restoration. It is just one of the many cars already consigned to the collector car auction in August. The auction will be held at a new facility this year at the Capitol Auto Auction in Youngsille, North Carolina. You better hurry if you want to get hotel reservations. Click here to get bidder registration and consignment information.
All things considered we never expected collector cars would be selling this well during the "Stay At Home" economy. You should see all the cars SOLD this week (click the link to see a list below.) Mike from Cornville, Arizona told us he sold his rare 1962 Ford Falcon Delivery after using a $45.00 Run Till Sold ad on Cars-On-Line.com. "Great service!! Will use again. Very helpful," Mike told us when he filled out the SOLD form online. Now Mike knows why we always say, "You can advertise anywhere ... but you can sell on Cars-On-Line."
Once again we remind our readers to take advantage of our COL Inspection Service rather than going out to inspect vehicles themselves. Our inspectors will do a pre-purchase inspection and appraisal of the car you want to buy. They will be able to give you a good idea of the condition classes on these cars. This is the safest way for you to buy collector cars these days. Please, stay healthy out there.

A Canadian collector is selling his 2006 Ford GT, fast becoming one of the most sought after cars on the planet. Ford has always made these cars in very limited production which keeps them escalating in value. This one has literally never seen rain and has just over 6,000 original mles. It has an upgraded TUBI exhaust for an even more impressive sound. It comes with all original paperwork including the window sticker. Unveiled as a concept car in 2002, the Ford GT was produced for only the 2005 and 2006 model years. In all, only about 4,000 were made. The Ford GT is a factory built tribute to the Ford GT-40 race cars which took the 24 Hours of Lemans three years in a row, displacing Ferrari from atop the sports car manufacturers championship scene. Ford brought in Carroll Shelby to consult in the design and production of the Ford GT's. They are the real thing.
Southern Motors in Clarkston, Michigan listed this 1956 Chevrolet 210 mild custom restoration this week. They say the car has been recently gone through mechanically. The paint is real nice and is older, about 12 years old they think. Listen to the commentary on the video. They go through the car pretty thoroughly. This is a good example of what a video can do for you when you want to sell a classic car. Click the window above, or follow this link here to view the video.

Although the photo makes it look a little like a barn find, the seller says this 1939 Oldsmobile Model 70 actually runs well. What is really unique about it is that it was equipped with a sunroof from the factory. They say at this point it still has only 38k orignal miles. And they note that it has always been garage kept. Amazing mileage for a truly rare classic car.

When you look for a project to restore you always want to find one that has a lot of upside potential, one that could be worth $$ millions some day. Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles recently discovered this original 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE. Could be a money maker if the right restorer gets ahold of it. They are one of the few cars to hold their value lately.

You'll have to look twice at this beautifully done 1954 Chevy 3100 5-Window Show Truck being offered for sale by its private owner in San Jose, California. This was an elegantly done custom that looks very original until you look inside the cab and under the hood. This was an expensive custom build. The owner was asking $62,000 (way below what it would cost to build) originally. But just this week he reduced the price to $48,000. Now that is affordable and wildly under the real value. Get this one real quick or you will lose out.

The Vette Net is selling a beautiful 1968 Corvette L-88 Baldwin Motion style tribute this week. Here is something you won't find every day. They say the car had a professional frame-off restoration in 2004. It was then that an original 427 engine was modified with aluminum heads and modified exhaust, now dyno'ing at 500 hp. Note the detailed engine compartment. You will see dozens of detailed photos linked in the ad. It has won many First place awards at NCRS judged events.

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the DEAL of the DAY feature on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page!
The popularity of the Chevelle SS is legendary in the collector car community. Everyone loves them and every one wants one. So this week, when we saw this 1971 Chevelle Malibu being offered for sale with a 454 big block motor in it we just could not believe the price. Streetside Classics tells us they don't have any documentation to prove that this is a real SS, so they are not advertising it that way. But what a find. The deep "wet" mirror shine comes fron a modern day two-stage urethane paint treatment. It even has the cowl induction hood. A buyer would want this car because it looks great and all the work is already done. And, of course, for the price. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is only $28,995.
One of the underlying trends in the collector truck market in recent years is a new-found interest in International Harvestor 1/2-ton pickup trucks. These are so rare and hard-to-find that they bring smiles to collector's faces everywhere they go. You often see them in need of restoration. But here is a 1956 International S100 Pickup from Oklahoma that is complete and only needs some cosmetic cleanup. The seller says it runs and drives excellent. He says it is also very original and has the 220 inline 6 cylinder engine with a three-on-a-tree. He says there are bubbles starting in the cab corners and at the front of the roof. Be sure to have it insected before you buy, but hurry! Not many of these left. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. The seller is only asking $16,500.
We are really impressed with this 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe which was just listed for sale by Classic Car Liquidators in Sherman, Texas. I don't know how they do it, but they seem to come up with some really nice, clean collector cars there in that part of Texas. Look at the dozens of detailed photos in the ad. The only area that looks a little worn are the door panels. Be sure to have it inspected before you buy, but this one looks pretty nice. They say it comes with a 260 ci V8 engine and a 4-speed transmission. It has a dual exhaust, center console, Holley carburetor and has been converted to an electronic ignition. It looks pretty sharp for the price. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday because the asking price on this one is only $14,999.
Nothing surpasses the elegant lines of the 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. However this one has a surprise that few would expect. The luxurious space and leather accoutrments are legendary. Cadillac's luxury level Biarritz package included half-vinyl roof, bright chrome bumpers, an intricate grille, and color-matched turbine-style wheel covers. The word "classic" falls short of describing the elegant beauty of these artistic automobiles. The interior was probably more comfortable than most peoples living rooms. Yet under the hood you will find that the 425 ci V8 has been converted to propane fuel. Yes, it is greener than your average luxxury ride. Call Streetside Classics in Phoneix, Arizona to find out about mileage. I think you'll agree, this is an interesting find. But hurry! It will be our DEAL of the DAY early next week. Their asking price is $14,995.
Blackdog Performance in Lincolnshire, Illinois has just listed a wonderful "future collectible" for our readers. This 1989 Camaro RS Convertible is said to have only 29,632 original miles, and comes with all the good options. Just look at the photos in the ad display. It is hard to believe this desirable sports car is just over 30 years old. Look at the photos of the engine bay, the interior, and Blackdog can show you a clean CarFax. The engine is the 5.0L TBI 305 ci V8 (the only engine offered with the RS) mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. It has a stunning effect with the black top up. This generation of Camaro is just now becoming well appreciated. Would it be wise to own a "future classic" before they become too exensive. Yours to decide. The asking price is $18,999.
Known for their dependable performance the Nissan 300ZX was one of my favorites to rent (if you could get one) when I was out of town. So it was interesting to find that a private seller from Custer Park, Illinois was parting with his 1993 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 at a very affordable price. I think you will agree that this is a lotta' car for the money. It has reasonably low miles at 68,900, all adult driven, the seller notes. He is the third owner and he says he has owned it for the past 22 years. He describes it as his "fair weather driver, stored winters, very well maintained." It has T-tops with dust covers, "black leather seats in very good condition/like new." It also comes with the Bose AM/FM CD and cassette player, cold air conditioning, chrome wheels w/new tires, brand new battery and much more. The Aztec red 300ZX will be our DEAL of the DAY later next week. The asking price is only $10,900.
When Chevrolet came out with the hardtop coupe version Corvette in 1999, it made the Corvette 79 pounds lighter than the other C5's. Autocross racers would love it right? Actually everyone loved the lighter Corvette which still had 345 horsepower, now much quicker at the lighter weight. Today, there is a black on black 1999 Corvette Hardtop being offered for sale by a private seller out of Fraser, Michigan. He says he is the original owner, and tells us it still has only 16k original miles. That's amazing. It comes with new Michelin run-flat tires, Bose Gold stereo with CD, chrome stock wheels and seat covers. You will notice the SS exhaust extensions. Only 1,227 hardtops were produced that first year. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week. The asking price is only $16,500 (for a low miles hardtop! Hurry!)
