Still in unrestored original condition, a real 1970 Yenko Deuce Nova will turn incredible times in the quarter mile. Not many have survived in this condition. Look at the photos on the ad page at the link. They tell the story of an old war horse born to run.
This 1970 Yenko Deuce is one of 175 built by Don Yenko back in the day. This week it was posted for sale by Nickey Performance in Loves Park, Illinois. Powered by the COPO LT1 350 engine, it ran 14's at the Yenko Deuce Shootout just the way it sits here in the picture. They tell us they have vintage ET slips from Englishtown with many times in the high 13-seconds.
Nickey says the original Yenko Nova has its original drivetrain with an automatic transmission. The car has about 53,000 miles. The original smog and exhaust equipment is still present on the car. And they say it comes with loads of orignal documentation and paperwork. They were able to purchase the car from its original owner. The documentation includes, the orignal Protecto plate, original window sticker, an original build sheet, the orignal dealer invoice, dealer shipping report and copies of the original title. It was certified as original in 2011.

With so many car shows being cancelled this year, it is with some relief that we can tell you about the Vintage Concours d’Elegance at Road America this weekend. Of course, the yearly Brian Redman Challenge Vintage Races are being held at Road America this weekend, July 23-26. Road America, one of America's premier road racing tracks, is the site of the yearly vintage racing challenge sponsored this year by WeatherTech International. Over 400 cars will compete in many vintage racing categories, from CanAm series cars to vintage sports cars. On Friday evening from 6-8 PM they will have a concours of vintage race cars to review at the starting line on. Then on Saturday, vintage and exotic sports cars are invited to display from 6 to 8 PM after the days races. There are always some rare exotic sports cars in the concours. The Maserati pictured above is likely to attend. It was driven by Carroll Shelby in the Elkhart Lake Enduro back in the day.
Our advertisers know how much we love it when they tell us about their sales. This week, a veteran collector let us know how he did when he advertised his 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder recreation on Cars-On-Line.
"I have been using Cars On Line for 20 years," said Richard from Kerrville, Texas. "In the past year they have been instrumental in moving around 15 cars for me. Vettes, Muscle Cars, you name it!" So Richard told us to put the familiar SOLD sign on his ad just two weeks after listing it. Thanks, Richard.
Richard already knows why we always say, "You can advertise anywhere ... but you can sell on Cars-On-Line." And what a week it was. You should see all the cars SOLD just this past week. Click here to review the SOLD Section below.

Here is another example of one of those incredible Hennessey HPE super performance Corvettes. This 2019 Hennessey Corvette HPE850 Z06 is an in your face blast of ultimate performance. It is being offered for sale by Fast Lane Classic Cars in St Charles, Missouri. They say it is powered by a 6.2 Liter Supercharged LT4 V8, tuned to 850 hp and produces 715 foot pounds of torque. They tell us there are only 1,355 original miles. What's more, it has all the APR carbon fibre exgtras that make a modern super car lighter and stronger, such as the diffuser, quarter panel air ducts, hood vent, front and rear Track Pack spoilers and fender vents. Talk about a Dream Car.
A private seller from Dryden, Michigan showed us how easy it was to do a video ad on his 1968 Pontiac GTO this week. He said he got carried away when he started out to "fix a few things" on the GTO, and ended up doing a full frame-off restoration, powder coated frame and all. He does a skillful job of taking you through the car in the video. All the orignal metal and panel fitment is shown. Then listen to it start up. Wow! Click the window above to view the video.

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page!
A real GTO is being offered for sale by a private collector in Sacramento, California this week. He says his 1969 Pontiac GTO is a real 242 VIN GTO. What's more, he says it is all original and numbers matching. He says the California car comes with no rust and solid floor pans and body panels. It has new paint. The rebuilt 400 engine and automatic transmission are complemented with power steering, power front disc brakes and the original air conditioning (needs charging.) The interior is new. They say it comes with PHS documents, and it rides real smooth as you would expect from a '69 GTO. It will be our Deal of the Day on Saturday. The asking price is only $28,000.
Here is a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL which looks so good in the photos, it might look better than it really is. The interior will need some work, notably the upholstery. It is being offered for sale through Midwest Car Exchange in Alsip, Illinois. They say the sporty styling, perfectly tuned suspension and ample power makes it very desirable among collectors today. Just look at the undercarriage photos. You can see the positive effects of the dry Arizona sun in preserving this car. It has a 289 ci C Code motor with an Edelbrock aluminum intake. The console with automatic and floor shift make it special to drive. Have it inspected before you buy. But hurry. The asking price is only $18,900.
What could be more American than a full size luxury car with a droptop? The Pontiac Grandville was their top-of-the-line model from 1971 to 1975. Midwest Car Exchange out of Illinois also has this spectacular 1972 Pontiac Grandville Convertible for sale this week. Only 2,213 Grandville convertibles were made for the 1972 model year. This one was owned by the same owner for the past 24 years. While there is some wear noticeable on the car, overall you'll like the way it looks in the photos. It is listed as having 88,204 miles. The list of power options is impressive. The convertible power top has a glass back window. It will be our Deal of the Day on Monday. They are asking $13,900.
Even way back in the 1990's we were aware that Toyota Celicas were beginning to be collectible. They were one of the first sporty cars that seemed to be able to endure really high miles. So this 1985 Toyota Celica GTS Convertible is almost just a baby yet. Primo Classics International tells us it has just 69,439 actual miles. Powered by a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder motor, it comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. They tell us it is one of only 4,248 convertibles produced. It also has a parade boot and comes with a clean Carfax. Look at the photos. It is really clean. It will be our Deal of the Day this week. The asking price is $18,900.
The 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible being offered for sale by a private collector from Fountain Valley, California is a bit of a work in progress. He says he has 20 years of collecting extra parts for this car. He tells us it is an original California car which has never had any rust. The original engine has been replaced by a 413 ci V8 with Comp Cam and lifters, Headman Elite headers, 2 1/2 inch Flowmasters and more. He says he put the engine in about 7 years ago and it still has only about 700 miles on it. New front suspension was put in about two years ago. He has a list of new parts yet to install. For the right buyer, there is a lot of car here to own. It will be our Deal of the Day because the asking price is only $15,500.
Now here is a rare one. As far back as the 1980's I remember collectors were complaining that you could not find a Buick LeSabre convertible anymore. This week, Connors Motorcar Company in West Chester, Pennsylvania has a nice one for sale. Their 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible is said to have just 82k miles and comes in Canary Yellow with a black top and saddle interior. Under that hood is the big 455 ci V8 coupled to an automatic transmission. It comes fully loaded with air conditioning, power steering, power isc brakes, power windows, tilt steering column, cruise control and chrome Buick road wheels. They say it is serviced and ready to drive. We just can't believe it, but they are only asking $14,500. Hurry!!!
Some cars are just born to be collectible. Every Corvette produced is a candidate. But here is one that has been pampered and cared for by its owners. Classic Auto Showplace in Troy, Michigan tells us their 1981 Corvette Coupe is finished in Corvette Beige with camel leather interior. The options include power steering, power brakes, power windows and power door locks. It has air conditioning, tilt-telescopic steering, cruise control and optional factory aluminum wheels. With the mileage kept at 56,360 miles, it has obviously been driven sparingly. This is what a Corvette should look like. For the right buyer it will be a real find. And you can own it today for just $13,750.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
