The Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona just ended this past weekend. Once again, it did not disappoint. It was an extraordinary extravaganza of exotic and classic cars. We hope you were able to catch our coverage of the show. If you missed it, here is a link to our Barrett-Jackson blog from last weekend. The high point came on "Prime Time" Saturday when the No. 001 VIN 2020 Corvette Stingray was auctioned off to the highest bidder by General Motors. GM CEO Mary Barra was on hand to introduce the sale. The winning bidder was NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick when the price reached $3 million at the hammer. All of the proceeds from this sale go to benefit the Detroit Children's Fund to inspire education among Detroit's youth.

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page!
Upgraded with a 455 V8 engine, this 1969 Pontiac Firebird is rocketing into the Deal of the Day feature cars this week. The owner is located in Daly City, California and says this car runs with both speed and power. It has 18-inch wheels on the front, 19-inch wheels on the back, and nice looking Dark Blue paint with flakes. The price is just $24,000.
The front page of Cars On Line is enjoying some muscle car mayhem thanks to this Deal of the Day featured 1967 Chevrolet Camaro from Beverly Hills Car Club. They say the V8 engine runs strong and has a Demon carburetor as well as Edelbrock air cleaner. It all sits atop American Racing wheels. This one won't be sitting for long though. They priced it at only $24,750!
This 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J boasts full service and repair documentation since new. Quite a feat. It's in Ripon, Wisconsin and we're told it's armed with a 400cid engine, automatic transmission, and a host of other options that all remain in working order. It's headed for the front page of Cars On Line thanks to the price, just $16,500.
How does turning some heads sound? This 1969 Pontiac Firebird might do the trick. It roars to life with a 400ci V8 paired to a ST-300 automatic transmission. We're told it sounds great. The seller has it in East Palestine, Ohio and listed it with a new dual exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, and says it is a solid car that might be worthy of a full restoration. The price is just $24,900.
Morganton, North Carolina is where you'll find this 1973 Dodge Challenger RT. It has a 440 engine, automatic transmissin, and slap stick transmission. A little lens flare is appropriate for such a star. But you won't have to pay out the nose to take this one out on the road. It's among this week's Deal of the Day features at only $18,500.
The prior owner decided to give this 1950 Plymouth Convertible a little restructuring. It was not originally a true convertible. Now it's a 12 volt roadster with a Flat 6 converter engine and manual transmission. There's a new batter and new alternator as well. Not bad for the asking price, just $5,995.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
|2000 Corvette||$16,000||Cleveland, OK|
|1973 Jaguar XJ||$12,995||Laguna Beach, CA|
