Street rod action is alive and well in Daytona, Florida this Thanksgiving holiday. The 46th Annual Daytona Turkey Run, the annual Thanksgiving Weekend Car Show and Swap Meet is happening at the Daytona Speedway, November 28 thru December 1, 2019. We can't wait to meet Rick and Kelly Dale from the American Restoration TV series on History Channel. They will be doing an autograph session on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30th, from 10 AM to 2 PM on the show grounds. There will be over 6,000 classic cars and hot rods on display and in the car corral for sale. Then there is the massive swap meet. It is the place to be in the Southeastern United States this weekend. Features include celebrity appearances, and interesting auto displays. One of the rarest of American Motors muscle cars is the 1970 AMC Rebel Machine. They only produced 2,326 of them in 1970. Here is a beautifully kept example in the Bittersweet Orange metallic color. This one is being offered for sale this week at Fast Lane Classic Cars in St Charles, Missouri. They tell us it has only 72k original miles. Just look at all the detailed photos on the ad page. It has a 390 ci, 340 horsepower performance engine with a 4-barrel carburetor. and they tell us it is numbers matching. Note the functional Ram Air hood and hood mounted tach. View the photos and you will see how clean this car is. It has a center console, power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, dual mirros w/remote, tilt wheel and a padded dash. We think you'll be excited to find such a rare example of American muscle.

Primo Classics International out of Lakeland, Florida has a 1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible which is "out of this world amazing." They say it has only 13,900 actual miles as stated on the title. How does it happen that a car this nice has such low orignal miles? The Honeydew yellow paint looks great as do the bucket seats, center console and beautiful black leather interior. They say it runs and drives great!

A sharp looking black 1969 Camaro has been restored to looks like a COPO Camaro of that year. It was put up for sale this week by North Shore Classics in Mundelein, Illinois. They describe it as a quality driver class car (translates to No. 3 condition) with a 312 ci V8 and a manual transmission. The paint has some minor blmishs and minor chips. Cruisin Classics in Columbus, Ohio tells us this 1946 Pontiac Sedan can be driven and enjoyed without hesitation. While it looks original, it comes with many upgrades that make it a driver. It now has cruise control, tilt steering, ice cold air conditioning and power disc brakes. It now has a more modern rear end and a later model subframe, all due to an older restoration. They say the pait is driver qulity but shows well. It has a 400 ci V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, TH350 automatic transmission and looks good in the photos. Classic Studebakers inspire interest in the collector car market. The rarest ones are the 1940's and early 1950's Champions. That post-war look is quirky and unique. An internet broker called Classic Car Deals has come up with this 1949 Studebaker Champion Tudor Sedan for a very low price. It is a "fixer-upper" best left to a collector who knows what he's doing with these old cars. The owner says it needs some repair on the interior and needs a master cylinder. He says the floor pans are good. You may want to have it inspected before you buy. The seller says it runs quiet and has a good body, good floors and a new 6-volt battery. As the muscle car era evolved and the Ford Ranchero moved to the Torino platform, the Ranchero benefitted from the performance packages available for the Torino. Thus evolved the muscle pickup truck, much like this 1968 Ford Ranchero being offered for sale at Streetside Classics in Phoenix, Arizona this week. Under the hood is Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. This hardy unit has been given performance upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers creating a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. Willys-Overland Motors was an American automobile company that developed the military Jeep for wartime during WWII. When the war was over they continued making the Jeep for civilian use and needed a crossover vehicle more like a car. They produced the Willys Jeepster, a convertible version of the Jeep Utility Wagon, with street use in mind. The Jeepster was made from 1948 until 1950. They are very collectible today.
