A 1976 Porsche 935 Gr. 5 by Kremer is one of the feature offerings at the Petersen Museum Auction put on by RM Sotheby's in Los Angeles, California next weekend. The Kremer Porsche came to this country in the 1980's. The Ice Green Metallic original Porsche color was refreshed recently. It is the type of car over which Porsche collectors get pretty excited. Holy, cow! We just noticed that the Fall 2018 Raleigh Classic Auction is offering a real deal 1969 Pontiac Trans Am next weekend. The sale, December 7-8, 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina, is one of the most popular auctions in the Southeastern part of the country. Classic car dealers from all over the region will be there to pick up clean, low miles classic cars and muscle cars to resell to the public. But the auction is open to the public, so Cars-On-Line.com readers are welcome to come to the auction or bid over the phone. Here is a link to their inventory.

If you are one of those car collectors that intends to build one of the finest collections in the country, you have to acquire top cars such as this 1970 Boss 429 Mustang. It is currently for sale at Online Auto Connections in West Seneca, New York. They say it is numbers matching and has only 38k original documented miles. It comes with its Deluxe Marti Report which confirms that this car had the Drag Pack option, convenience group, electric clock, power steering, competition suspension and rimblow deluxe steering wheel. The older restoration was done to MCA concourse specifications. It is believed that this is the first time this car has been offered for sale. So prestigious that it could be the centerpiece of any collection, it is one of 210 produced in Grabber blue with a white interior.

In a market where most collector cars are depreciating, this 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster is one of the few that is bucking the trend and gaining in value. If you have been watching the RM-Sotheby's collector car auctions this year you know that 1957 through1962 Mercedes 300 SL's are heading for seven figure values. Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, New York is offering it for sale this week. They say it is a numbers matching example, offered in cream with a red leather interior. (It should be noted that the original color was silver.) The same owner has had the car for the past 30 years. He says it is in driver quality condition and is "mechanically excellent." This is the first time it has been offered for sale during his ownership. Call Gullwing for the price.

The first Max Wedge Super Stock car? What a find! Our friends at Nickey Performance in St Charles, Illinois just listed this one. We thought we better tell you about it here. It is a 1962 Plymouth Max Wedge Super Stock lightweight which is both well documented and historically significant. Now hear this! This car is not just one of Chrysler's Maximum Performance Engine Package (Max Wedge) cars ... it is the first one. Nickey Performance tells us this is the first Super Stock Plymouth with a manual transmission (Borg Warner T-85 floor shift) shipped from the factory. So, of the 159 Max Wedge Plymouths built with manual transmission, this is the first one. Validation of this car's status is from the Super Stock Registry. It takes into consideration the car's shipping order date (found on its original build sheet, IBM card, and stamped three places on the car.) It is also the earliest Savoy found in Galen Govier's Registry. The current owner has tracked down the first and second owners of this car to further corroborate it's provenance.

Remember this Goodguys PPG Street Machine of the Year 2014 Camaro? It won the 2014 General Motors design award for "Best Chevrolet Sports Car," and then turned around and won the first ever "Battle of the Builders" award that year. Built by Detroit Speed, this 1969 Camaro Show Car has a Mast Motorsports LSX 427 with Magnuson Supercharger, rated at just under 800 hp to the crank. Along with a Detroit Speed full suspension, it has a TKO 5-speed transmission, Baer brakes, functional louvers, smoothed rain gutters, exhaust pipes molded out the rear, rear view camera, Schroth racing harness and Mosconi audio. They say the big block engine produces 9.5:1 compression, and feeds the Tremec TKO 600 5-speed tranny to deliver unbelievable torque to the wheels. Some people just talk about legendary performance. You can own it.

When you want something with class, you want something like this 1946 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 from Connors Motorcar Company. They're based in West Chester, Pennsylvania and say this Cadillac has a 346ci 150 hp Flathead V8 engine that's whisper quiet and smooth. Only 5,700 were produced and this one comes fully serviced. Also, just 18,000 miles!

Nickey Performance of St. Charles, Illinois tells us this 1970 Oldsmobile W-30 Barn Find is one of only 1,032 W-30 Holiday 4-speed Coupes and features special order paint, and an original broadcast sheet from under the seat. It's had three prior owners and was restored to running/driving order in 2016 after being parked since 1982.

It's from a private seller in Laredo, Texas who's motivated to find this beauty a new owner. It's fully restored with a new top and original paint code. If any body would know a little about the first generation Yenko Camaros it would be NASCAR team owner and long-time Chevrolet dealer Rick Hendrick and his Hendrick Performance dealership in Concord, North Carolina. This week they listed a 1968 Yenko Camaro Tribute for sale in "just restored" condition. The sweet Corvette bronze paint is so nice and straight you could shave in it. It is pretty rare to see a '68 Yenko.

Car collectors have always considered Corvettes as the gold standard of the collector car hobby. So we couldn't wait to show you this 1968 Corvette when it came in this week. It was listed by a private seller from Roanoke, Virginia. Have it inspected to verify the condition. The seller says the body is in nice condition with an older paint job. He says it still looks great. It has the original numbers matching 327 high performance small block engine and has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. He says he has updated some interior items. He notes that the car is untouched and original. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is only $21,000.

Some of the early 1950's cars are really coming into their own in the collector car market. This 1954 Pontiac Chieftain is being offered for sale by Streetside Classics. Whenever we feature an early '50s Pontiac Chieftain on Facebook we get a lotta' likes. In this case, Streetside says this is a "stuning" example. The Pontiac's 268 ci Straight Eight motor earned a reputation for being smooth, reliable and quite sturdy. They say it is authentic right down to the oil bath air cleaner. They also note how straight and clean the body is. The classic detail includes the color-matched fender skirts and correct polished hubcaps over whitewall tires. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday when the world will see it offered for $14,995 on the front page of the Cars-On-Line website.

Did you ever wonder when the new retro Shelby Mustangs would become affordable to buy as used cars? If they had always seemed too expensive before you may want to check this one out. A 2007 Shelby GT500 has just been listed by a private seller from Cumming, Georgia. The ad copy says it has just 700 miles and is a one-owner car. The color combination is very popular in black with silver stripes. The seller says it comes in excellent condition with a 5-speed manual transmission for the true sports car lover. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday because the asking price is $22,000. I think you will agree that this is a lotta' car for the money.

Streetside Classics has several locations in the U.S., being one of the largest classic car dealer chains in the country. This week, from their original location in Charlotte, North Carolina, they are offering a 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV luxury class collector car. There is nothing more elegant than a long, smooth Lincoln Continental, a truly American car that transcends the ages. This is a low miles survivor at a great price. The triiple black survivor car has the big 460 ci V8 and all the luxury options you would expect from a Lincoln. Check the undercarriage and you will see that this is a driver quality survivor. But that's why they are offering it for just $14,995. Hurry! It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Tuesday, if it lasts that long.

Specialty Sales Classics in Pleasanton, California posted a "sizzling performer" in their 1970 Mercury Cougar with the big hood scoop on the hood. Performance comes from the 351 Cleveland big block motor. They tell us this 1970 Mercury Cougar is in average driver quality condition with some noticeable blemishes to the otherwise beautiful body. The fresh paint was completed at a very high level, and they say the engine compartment is just as impressive. The interior is also in average quality for a typical survivor. They say you should check out the interior or have it inspected. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week. The asking price is $18,990. Excellent documentation is promised.

Here is a highly desirable 1972 Chevrolet C10 Super Cheyenne Pickup which looks pretty good in the ad photos. 4-Wheel Classics in Holland, Michigan tells us it has spent most of its life in Arizona. They noted that the previous owner spent a good amount of money to make this a nice reliable river. They say it runs and drives excellent. Being an Arizona truck, the body is said to be excellent and the owner recently repainted in the original Hugger orange color. The wood bed was also redone, and the truck has air conditioning. Follow this link to view a walk-around video. The drivetrain is a 383 stroker motor with Holley carb and headers with dual exhaust. From a private seller in South Bend, Indiana we were impressed when this 1978 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II showed up in our listings this week. The seller says it was freshly serviced and ready for you to show off and enjoy. He also says the car comes with new tires and a new battery. Notice the Pearl white exterior and complimentary British Royal Red interior. Be sure to have it inspected before you buy. An inspection report will help you verify the car's condition.
