Incredible opportunity! Yes, you've found it. An unrestored 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car Convertible was just listed by a private seller from Warminster, Pennsylvania. But not just one of the thousands of small block Camaro Pace Cars from 1969. No, this Camaro Indy Pace Car Convertible is one of the rare L78 396/375 horsepower big block versions just like the actual car that paced the race.
Camaro enthusiasts will drool over the price. But before you get too excited, the private seller fromWarminster, Pennsylvania wants you to know that this driver quality historic Camaro Pace Car currently has a small block 350 under the hood. He says it runs and drives excellent but, due to its rarity, should be restored back to its original condition. Also included in the sale is a completely correct L78 396-375 horsepower engine along with many other NOS GM parts.
No one knows how many big block L78 396/375 horsepower dealer versions of the 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car were produced. Only seven are currently in the Pace Car registry. This RS/SS Z-11 Pace Car convertible comes with a 4-speed and is documented. The Camaro was certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro High Performance and comes with his Certificate and Inspection Sheets and the NCRS Shipping Data Report. Even its original, never removed cowl tag and hidden second VIN # are still present.
All Camaro Pace Cars were RS/SS optioned convertibles and featured the very desirable and beautiful styling of the concealed/hideaway Rally Sport headlights. The Orange Bucket Seats have Houndstooth inlaid fabric which blends seamlessly with the orange trim and carpet.
To see more history on the very unique 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car, follow our blog which can be found on the MyDreamCar.online home page. You'll find detailed information on Chevrolet's effort to promote the '69 Camaro with the exhaustive Indy Pace Car build. Then feel free to join the conversation by typing in your stories about the Pace Cars you've known in the comments section below the article.

The highest honor an American roadster can receive on the West Coast is the "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" trophy from the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California. Last weekend a 1931 Ford Roadster owned by Dave Martin won the award at the Pomona Fairplex. The builder was Scott Bonowski of Hot Rods & Hobbies in Signal Hill, California where Martin is also from. They said they studied the Indy Car builds of Frank Kurtis, and there is a lot of Kurtis's technique in Martin's '31 Ford. (Photo courtesy of Kahn Media, official photographers of the Grand National Roadster Show.)
This is a big deal. Past winners have included such builders as Chip Foose, Roy Brizio and Troy Trepanier. Hot Rod Magazine did the best job of covering the show this year. Here is a video they did on the 15 cars contending for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster trophy. All cars must be 1936 or older to compete for the AMBR trophy.
The 1968 Bullitt Mustang from the iconic Hollywood movie Bullitt was seen for the first time in fifty years at the Detroit Auto Show last week. Ford Motor Company brought it out of exile to promote its debut of the 2019 Bullitt Mustang, comemorating the movie and the Mustang legacy it created. Legendary Hollywood star Steve McQueen drove the car in the most celebrated car chase scene in Hollywood history in the Warner Brothers epic film. Ford even asked McQueen's granddaughter, Molly McQueen, to shoot a commercial for the 2019 Bullitt Mustang special edition. Click here to see the Ford commercial. This season Jay Leno also filmed a test drive of the 2019 Bullitt Mustang in which Ford brought the original Bullitt along for Jay to drive. Click here to see the Leno test drive on Jay Leno's Garage. The car is owned by Sean Kiernan of Nashville, TN. Here is a link to a video made when Kiernan introduced Molly McQueen to her grandfather's famous Mustang. Who would have thought after all those years we would get a chance to see the actual Bullitt Mustang totally unrestored and original to when the movie was made.
Sometimes it is the story of the sale that is most interesting. Frank from The Villages, Florida notified us that he SOLD his 1958 Ford 2-Door Sedan "in just over a week!" He said, "The Ford is going to Texas and I hope it gets to drive on some gravel roads. It is a North Dakota car SOLD to a senior my age, 74 years old. Young people only want fast cars," he surmised. "Only one call, but it SOLD!" Now Frank knows why we always say, "You can advertise anywhere ... but you can sell on Cars-On-Line." To view more vehicles SOLD thru Cars-On-Line this week, follow this link to the SOLD section below. Then you can advertise your car with Cars-On-Line at this link!

Last week we featured a Grabber blue 1970 Boss 429 Mustang in this newsletter. Who could have predicted that this week an identical Grabber blue Boss 9 would be posted by Gateway Classic Cars in Dallas, Texas.
Ford produced just 499 Boss 9's in 1970 to compete with Chrysler's 426 Hemi on the NASCAR circuit. These engines were severely underrated at 375 horsepower. Some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500. In fact Gateway Classic Cars tells us this one was actually put on a dyno during restoration and is rated at 590!
This is a stunning example. Be sure to view the photos of the undercarriage in the ad. They say no expense was spared in the restoration. Every nut, bolt, and panel has been professionally refinished, rebuilt, or replaced back to the original specifications. Every paint marking and decal that Kar Kraft put on the Boss 9 during the original build was put back in place. Every top collection needs a Boss 9. The Boss 429 Mustang is at the top of the Ford muscle car food chain.
Feast your eyes on this 1956 Chevy Bel Air Custom from Middleboro, Massachusetts! It's this week's featured video — watch it here! According to the seller, the radical custom has been chopped, shaved, nosed, decked and frenched. It wears custom White Pearl paint with graphics and sports a custom leather interior. Under the hood you'll find a 350 V8. It's quite a sight! See more photographs when you visit the SLIDE SHOW ad. It has a price tag of $37,500.
Video ads have become the most important development for internet sellers. Just upload your video to YouTube and we'll embed your video in your Cars On Line.com ad at no extra charge.

It's a real gem from RK Motors in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in the DEAL of the DAY feature on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You'll always see them here first though.
The seller says it is "priced to sell." A 1970 Chevy El Camino was listed by Humpty Dumpty Classic Cars in Sarasota, Florida this week. If you have been looking for one of these muscle car pickups, this is the one you should check out. It is presented in factory colors with SS stripes and hood. It sure looks sharp in the photos, doesn't it? It comes equipped with a small block 350 ci V8, 12-bolt rear end, power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, dual mirriors, Soft Ray tinted glass, cowl hood, turbo dual exhaust, and am/fm stereo. They say its protect-o-plate comes with. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday with an asking price of $24,500. They say it is investment quality.
There is nothing in this world like a classic '50s two-tone finish. This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2-Door Hardtop is a very mild custom rendition of a popular Ford body style. And it comes with the 312 ci V8 Thunderbird engine, a manual 3-speed transmission with overdrive, new rear springs, a new master cylinder, wheel cylinders and front brakes. The private seller from Butler, New Jersey tells us it is a very good driver with "like new Coker tires" and may extra parts to go with. On Sunday we'll feature it as our DEAL of the DAY, because it's priced right at just $19,500.
Of all the vehicles listed this week, we really fell in love with this one. We've never seen one done like this. It is a Studebaker bullet nose front end kit fitted to a Chevy El Camino. We had seen the '39 Studebaker replica front ends on Chevy S-10's and '49 Ford front ends grafted to Thunderbird coupes before, but this one almost looks natural. Peope will stare, that's for sure. The seller from Sun City, Arizona says it was built a few years ago. It is a 1985 El Camino with a 1950-51 Studebaker bullet nose front valance kit. It is titled as a 1985 Chevy El Camino. Currently it has a Mr Goodwrench 350 small block V8 with about 5k miles. The seller says it runs and drive well, but he needs the garage space. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday. Hurry! The asking price is just $15,000.
If you are looking for a driver quality first generation Mustang convertible, this is one you should consider. A 1966 Mustang Convertible was just listed by a private seller from Magnolia, Texas. He says it was a barn find in 1982. Then in 2002 the interior was redone; in 2004, a 289 ci V8 engine withrebuilt MSD ignition, Performer 302 intake manifold, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, Performer aluminum heads and MTF Torque 2 Cam were added. Plus lots more work was done as detailed in the ad copy. If you get a chance to inspect it you may agree that it is stunning. With first generation Mustang convertibles generally trending into the $30k range these days here is one that you can drive daily for much less. Be sure to inspect it before you buy, but hurry. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week with an asking price of $26,000.
In the late '60's the Oldsmobile Toronado was the most fascinating luxury muscle car of its time. We were all convinced that this would be the next great collector car. The technology, with front wheel drive and the "space age" looking front valance, was state of the art at that time. Today this 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe does not get the respect it once did, but that might change when people see one that is this nice. The private seller from Mesa, Arizona tells us it has been a California/Arizona car all its life. It comes with a lot of original documentation. The owner was a former tech advisor on the Toronado for Oldsmobile. He says, "Nicest dash and rim blow steering wheel you will ever see in these years." This amazing car will be our DEAL of the DAY this week. The asking price is only $16,500. That opens up a great opportunity to own an amazing American classic car.
When classic Ford collector cars are discussed the Ford Thunderbird is one of those cars that ranks high on the collector radar. By 1959 the Thunderbird was in its second generation and become a sports luxury car. This 1959 Ford Thunderbird is available for sale through a private seller from Bullhead City, Arizona, probably one of the driest areas of the country. He says it "Looks great, runs great," has the 352 ci Police Interceptor engine with 300 horsepower, 3-speed on-the-colum, new Holley carb and new gas tank and lines. You have to admit it looks great in the photos. Have it inspected by a third-party expert so you know what you see is what you get. But hurry, because this one will be our DEAL of the DAY later next week. The asking price is only $15,000.
If you had a family friend or relative working for a Chrysler-Plymouth dealership back in the day you may remember how popular this 1962 Plymouth Valiant V200 was among new car buyers. It was priced favorably and car salesman loved it. This one is available through a Gateway Classic Cars franchise in Nashville, Tennessee. They tell us, "Under the hood of this time capsule is the 170 cubic inch slant 6 cylinder (engine) that was bolted in at the factory all those years ago. Still bolted to the 3-speed automatic transmission that is controlled by push buttons on the left side of the dash. This multiple award winning 1962 Valiant V-200 for sale has only had 4 owners and it is easy to see that each and everyone of them love and cared for this car." The price is just $14,995 and you will see it on the front page of CarsOnLine.com as one of next week's DEAL of the DAY feature cars.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
