Here is a beautiful and rare 1910 Thomas Flyabout owned by Jim Grundy of the Grundy Insurance Company. It took First in Class at the Hilton Head Motoring Festival two weeks ago. We heard several people say they thought it should have taken "Best of Show". It is just stunning for a car of that vintage. Click here for the history on this vintage classic. It was restored over a 13-year period and finished in 1972. After 45 years, it has now undergone a second recent complete frame-off restoration, finished this summer. The Thomas Flyabout sits on a 140-inch wheelbase and was a massive car even among its peers. With its scale, the brass era sports tourer boasts a powerful six cyinder engine mated to a four-speed transmission for a very lively performance.

The big 44th Annual Daytona Turkey Run starts the same day and runs through Sunday, November 26th. It is the largest combined car show and automotive swap meet in the country. Every year it happens on Thanksgiving weekend at the Daytona International Speedway, home to NASCAR. A Pittsburgh collector notified us that his 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop SOLD this week. Steve told us he SOLD thru Cars-On-Line. The classic custom '57 Chevy had a beautiful custom cream interior with bucket seats and a center console. The stock suspension had 2" drop spindles, dual exhaust and a custom stereo. In an airport hanger in California last night, Tesla founder and CEO, Elon Musk, rolled out two versions of the new Tesla Semi trucks to wow the crowd. In his presentation for trucking company buyers, Musk noted that the Tesla Semi tractor will have a range of up to 500 miles with four independent motors on the rear axles and an independent front suspension. He said the truck is guaranteed to run 1 million miles without a breakdown. According to the presentation, the truck comes with its own app giving you complete diagnostics, including remote scans and maintenance alerts. The truck also comes with an unbreakable windshied. He promised that the Tesla Semi tractor would be twenty percent less expensive to operate than a diesel powered semi. He also promised that the Tesla Semi would take only 20 seconds to go from a standing stop to 60 miles per hour pulling a full load. That's amazing. He said production would start in 2019. Don't miss your chance to get a closer look at this 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix, featured in a SLIDE SHOW ad. It is located in Los Gatos, California, and the seller says it's one of the best original cars left out there. He says it won a 2011 Gold Zenith Award. It features a 389 tri power engine and 4-spd transmission. It's also PHS documented and has just 21,000 miles! Wow!

After builders were done creating the famous Eleanor for Gone in 60 Seconds, the molds were used to create this Eleanor kit. It's a 1967 Eleanor Mustang GT500 from Gateway Classic Cars of Colorado, and they tell us it's armed with a fuel injected 428 Super Cobra Jet that will tear up almost anything. Other features include Carroll Shelby gauges, embroidered seats, roll bar, stock factory dash, and a wood grained steering wheel.

A muscle car shop in Fargo, North Dakota has just listed what looks to be a great car for a price you can afford. Here is the 1970 Chevy Nova from A&A Muscle Car Motorsports. They say it has very nice base coat clear coat silver paint on a super straight solid body. It sports a 2" steel cowl induction hood. Under the hood is a mild 350 small block that runs and sounds awesome. It has a small cam, headers, aluminum intake, hei distributor, and headers with x piped exhaust. They indicate that the Muncie 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly. It looks so nice for the price, it will be our DEAL of the DAY feature on Saturday. The asking price is $21,500.

We've said it so many times now that it has become our mantra. "If you find a first generation Ford Thunderbird for $30,000 or under ... buy it." Sellers now know that if they want to sell a first generation T-Bird fast, you put it on Cars-On-Line for a great price. Baby Boomers are starting to "cull the herd" and a certain number of these cars are turning up in the market for lower prices now. So, this week, Beverly Hills Car Club has posted this 1956 Ford Thunderbird with two tops for just $19,900. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday, so act fast and call today. 1950's classic Mopars are still very hot with a cult group of Mopar enthusiasts. But not many still exist which take a picture like this tri-tone 1955 Dodge Coronet 2-Door Hardtop. It is being offered for sale by a private seller from Charleston, South Carolina. This one may interest you because of its condition. The seller notes that the chrome bumpers are in very good condition boasting above par fit and finish. He says the aluminum trim is in great shape as well, only showing minor imperfections. He says the paint presents well although you will find some signs of age and wear. It will be a DEAL of the DAY feature ad on the front page of Cars-On-Line.com early next week. The asking price is only $16,600.

Here's one instance where a new engine and drivetrain make owning a classic car a pleasure. This 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible has a 4.6 Litre 8 cylinder engine. The seller says it is "new." It also has a new convertible top, new upholstery. It was recently repainted navy blue with white convertible top, 5 new radial tires, new dual exhaust, and skirts. Have it inspected to make sure, but if it is as good as it looks in the photos it will be a great one for cruises and local shows. Most interesting, it has a price that you can afford. Classic 1950's Fords are so elegantly styles with all the chrome and two tone paint ... now we are seeing prices coming down on some of these great looking rides. Take this 1959 Ford Galaxie 2-Door Hardtop for example. It is being offered for sale by a private collector from Tupelo, Mississippi. He says this beauty is ready for cruising with the period correct interior, chrome fender skirts, dual exhaust, and air conditioning. He also lists many new parts recently installed (read the ad.) The pictures are tantalizing. This car looks so clean in these photos. That makes it worthy of a DEAL of the DAY feature spot on Cars-On-Line front page this coming week. The asking price is only $18,500.

A 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 was changed into a drag car some 30+ years ago. Now it is street driven for fun by its current owner. But much of the performance stuff is still in this pavement shredding hot rod. The seller from Zillah, Washington says it has a 360 ci street engine, J heads, Edelbock RPM intake, 750 Holley, Hooker headers, 904 transmission w/ TCS aluminum drum, Griner trans brake, Ford 9" 4.56 Pro gears, spool, double adjustable ladder bars and tubular front K frame. He will sell it the way it sits now for just $15,000. It will be our DEAL of the DAY this week. For the right buyer this could be the one you've been looking for.

When a 1965 Chevy C10 Pickup with Long Wheel Base was listed by its private owner in Bakersfield, Caifornia this week, we were struck by the condition. It looks pretty nice in the photos. It is hard to find them so clean and road worthy. In fact, the seller says it has been restored. But he says it still has the numbers matching 283 V8 engine, 3-speed manual transmission with working factory overdrive, gauges and tach. He says there are a number of "new" parts including a restored wood bed. The ad description notes that it was built in Fremont, California and spent its whole life in the Caifornia climate. It is amazing that the seller has just lowered the price to $17,000 to get a quick sale.
