A Pennsylvania based Mopar collector challenges you to prove him wrong. He states that this 1966 Plymouth Hemi Belvedere II is the only survivor with this option and color combination. The car is like a time capsule. The seller calls it "an original paint, original interior, original drivetrain, survivor." This is the kind of find that urban legends are made of. Only this one is real, and it is right here before your eyes.
Just to give you an idea of what he means, the seller says, "this car has the original exhaust including mufflers. It even has the original brake and fuel lines." He tells us this car spent its entire life in southern California. For most of that time it was on display.
We quote the owner: "It is very well optioned with power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. No rust. The car has been professionally serviced. This car starts runs and drives amazing and everything works as it should. I have done quite a bit of research, and I believe this car to be one of very few original paint survivors and possibly the only one with this great option and color combination." He says the current mileage is 63k.
1966 was the first year that Plymouth offered the 426 Street Hemi in a production car. Only 531 Street Hemi equipped Plymouth Belvedere II's were produced from the factory.
Some say it was the most understated power train ever built. The '66 Street Hemi B-body was far more than a Mopar ordered with a big block motor. One of the cars to watch at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee this weekend will be the 1971 Dodge Hemi Charger R/T from the Wellborn Museum Collection. It will cross the auction block on Saturday. The car is being promoted by Show Your Auto.com, a member of the Cars On Line Dealer Network. If the money is there on Saturday this car should bring up to $200,000. It is one of just 63 Hemi Charger R/T's produced and is reported to have just 9,800 original miles.
Our spotters on the ground report that people are packing into the Kissimmee area as the show is going into prime time mode over the weekend. This past Sunday, Mecum auctioneers surprised everyone with a special No Reserve sale of a very nice collection. Buyers got some great deals. It was a good marketing move on the part of the Mecum people. That may be why so many buyers are streaming into Kissimmee today.

Take a look at this 1978 Ford Bronco that Southern Motors just listed. They tell us it's a custom cab conversion powered by a 400ci engine with an Edelbrock 4bbl carb and Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake. It's a Gergia truck with less than 500 miles on it since it was done. The colors are fitting, and the bottom is just as nice as the top as you'll see in the video. "This truck has got the look." The experienced builder did it for himself and you can see there was some love put into this project. Beautiful and unique. Clarkston, Michigan.

I know what you're thinking. But before you get too excited about this 1965 Chevy II Nova SS listen to the owner's own words: "Odd car ordered with the 230 six cylinder with powerglide with a console and floor shifter." Right, it is a Nova SS according to the description, but oddly ordered with the six cylinder engine. I thought it would be a resto mod, too. So now think about it. This is a pretty rare find. Want to keep it original? This may be your chance to pick up a Nova SS at a very attractive price. The seller says, "The car has 88,000 miles, bucket seats, all new front end and redone rear springs." It even has an in-dash tach. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The The price is $15,000.

Highly collectible or is it a ten-footer? Only a pre-purchase inspection can tell for sure. The description puts this 1939 Packard 2-Dr Sedan in the mix. The seller says it has a 6 cylinder flathead engine w/3 -speed tranny. Yes, he says it is the original driveline. He notes that it "runs great," and has a "99% rust free body." Interiior nice, new master cylinder, new tires, converted to 12 volts. He says it has nice paint w/some fading on top. He indicates the mileage to be about 85k. This one will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday as the price is interesting at $11,500.

California Playtoys calls this their "Timeless Classic." They just listed a 1951 Hudson Super Six. This is a giant 4-door car that you could have house parties in. It runs on the legendary 262 Flathead 6 cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission, manual steering, manual drum brakes and cloth bench seats. This is as old school as it gets. It comes with stock wheels, single exhaust, and the six volt system. California Playtoys tells us they recently updated: wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, master cylinder, carburetor, points, plugs, wires, fuel pump, wheel bearings and put new oil in the rear end and clutch. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday because the asking price is only $18,995. These Hudsons have a loyal following. Don't wait too long on this one.

Oh, boy, a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am in our DEAL of the DAY! My first question is, "Does it still have the 455 motor?" The ad just says it has a V8. In one of the photos you can see that it does have the T.A. 6.6 decals on the shaker. Let's call them, should we? It says in the description that it is "turn key ready." The engine compartment looks fairly clean in the photos. This is where a pre-purchase inspection would come in handy. With the little that we do know about it, if it turns out to be as good as it looks in the ad it would be a real find for the asking price. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week. The asking price in the ad is $11,000.

Few cars in our history are as beloved as the Chevy Impala. Here is a 1959 Chevy Impala 4-Dr from Mesquite, Texas. The seller says it comes with an original 283 ci small block, 4-bbl carburetor, automatic transmission, power steering and cold air conditioning. There is some cosmetic work that needs to be done. The front door panels and kick panels are of concern. But he says you can get in and drive it now. You'll turn heads when you get the whole family in this one and drive around town. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week as the price is really right ... at $14,500.

A Mesa, Arizona private seller lost his storage space for this 1963 Chevrolet Impala 2-Dr Hardtop. Your gain. Now he has it up for sale for a great price. He says it is a great driver, and he gets a lot of thumbs up at local shows. It is equppped with a 350 small block V8, 2-speed auto Powerglide, 4-bbl Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, power steering with rack and pinion, newer ball joints and upper and lower control arms, power front disc brakes with duel master booster cylinder, like new interior and AM/FM radio cassette player. The car shows 80k miles but is undocumented. You really want to have it inspected to see if it is as nice as it looks. It will be our DEAL of the DAY with a price of $18,000.

A Michigan seller says his 1976 Corvette Custom still has its original L82 350 small block engine and 4-speed, as well as its optional F87 gymkhana suspension. That's a fairly rare feature for 1976. It was the last year for the Stingray body. It has custom paint and a custom hood, power windows, power brakes, power steering, Rallye wheels, new dual exhaust, original luggage rack. T tops, am-fm cassette and tilt wheel. He says it not only gets attention, but runs excellent to boot. It will be our DEAL of the DAY if it lasts that long. The first $9,200 takes it. The seller knows he's selling it at a great price.
