Linked here are the most important pages of the newsletter, the New Listingspage and the Price Change page. You may want to bookmark these two, because they are updated in real time as the ads are loaded onto our website. These links will be good through Thursday, December 15, 2011. Then on Friday, December 16, 2011, you'll get a new version of the newsletter and a fresh new listings page with real time updates on new ads for the coming week.)
As the year winds down newsletter readers will remember that some of the most popular newsletters of the year are coming up in December. Next week you'll find out which muscle cars and classic cars are on our current Top Ten List. Then on Christmas weekend we will publish our year-end Price Guide with up to the minute valuations on the top collector cars in the hobby. On New Years weekend we will be publishing the 2011 Year-In-Review, with some of the top cars featured on our website in 2011.
Be sure to check our Car Show Calendar this week. Some of the important dates for January car shows have been posted recently. Of course, we'll give you the dates for the Barrett-Jackson Auction and all the upcoming collector car auctions in Arizona. There sure are a lot of them this year.
The most popular listing on our website in November was a 1963 Chevy Nova SS Pro Street from Glen Cove, New York. With House of Kolor paint and stock dash and gauges, the seller
tells us it is street legal. Our readers really liked it. This ad received 8,902 page views last month, the most of any car on the Cars On Line website. What attracted so many buyers was the big 468 ci engine with a BDS blower motor, all polished, 850 blower carbs, built with Crower lifters, Callies crank, Jessel cam drive, JE pistons; not to mention it is a Comp Cam full roller. A true Pro Street, this car has 4.56 gears. The second most popluar ad last month was a 1941 Willys Pro Street from Orange, California. It got 8,532 page views in November. I guess that just goes to show you how popular our Pro Street Section really is.
But the Pro Streets had better watch out. In just the last couple of weeks a 1961 Chevy Impala SS 409 has been catching up to them. This pro touring type muscle car from Philadelphia,
Mississippi has 4,447 viewers in just a few weeks. It helps that it is a SLIDE SHOW ad. (SLIDE SHOW ads get three times the hits that regular Run Till Sold ads get.) The seller says it is a frame-off total restoration. You can see a lot of the detail in the SLIDE SHOW photos. The seller says that all the pans and body panels look like they were original to the car. Those Billet Specialties wheels really set this car off. You'll find pro touring cars like this listed in the Street Machines Section of our website.
It has been a while since I've seen so many Hemi cars listed. Check the FEATURED LISTINGS below. They are from the new listings on the Cars On Line website. Those Hemi cars will appear in the Mopar Muscle Car ads. You'll also find some great bargains in the DEAL of the DAY feature below and don't miss the CARS FOR $10,000 AND UNDER listings following the DEAL of the DAY.
A famous race car builder named Lee Noble started making exotic performance cars that you could drive on the street and race on the weekends. What evolved is the 2006 Noble M400 you see pictured here. It is being offered for sale by Beebes Motors. The exotic 6-speed street car
is said to do 0 to 60 in just 3.2 seconds which was verified by Edmund's Inside Line and Road & Track during their testing. Beebes Motors tells us that this one has only 6k miles and has never been raced. The brochure tells you the Nobel M400 creates 425 bhp at 6500 rpm, and only weighs 2,300 pounds. These cars are known for their incredible handling due to the double wishbone suspension. And, if you get the chance, you'll want to listen to a Noble M400 as it goes through the gears. The woosh of the wastegates is so distinctive that you've never heard or felt anything like it. You will be surprised at its road manners. Bilstein coil-over shocks work well to enhance its road worthiness, and the cross-drilled rotors are employed on all four corners. To see one for sale here in the U.S. is quite unusual. It is a left-hand-drive version.
If you weren't wrenchin' back in the '60s you might not know that this car even existed. A Pontiac collector from Hamburg, New York has listed a 1967 Pontiac GTO which he says has the Royal Bobcat 400 ci engine kit. The Royal Bobcat kit was designed by mechanics at Royal
Pontiac in Royal Oak, Michigan back in the day. You could order the kit by mail from Royal Pontiac's parts department. Famous Pontiac GTO promoter and racer, Jim Wanger, had them tune his cars. It is now part of Pontiac history how Wanger promoted the Gee-T-O Tigers, and lead the Royal Bobcat Race Team to legendary fame. In fact, the seller says Jim Wanger signed the visor on this car at his 80th birthday celebration. He says it came with every option, including power steering, air conditioning, power windows, powers seat, power antenna, Hurst His/Hers shifter and even an 8-track.
I was wondering when somebody would do a motorcycle video for our Car Tube feature on the front page. This weekend you'll see a 2009 Harley-Davidson Softail Crossbones special
edition featured in a video. The ad was listed by P.J.'s Auto World in Clearwater, Florida. P.J.'s is a member for the Cars On Line Dealer Network. They took us up on our offer to run their video on our site. They tell us the bike has only 4,680 miles! It was designed to replicate a 1950's style hardtail. But the engine is a 1584 cc fuel injected V-Twin with a 6-speed gearbox, belt drive, front and rear disc brakes, springer front end and classic style hot rod paint with bold pinstriping. You'll notice the leather wrapped handle grips, wire spoke wheels and 200/55/R17 rear tire.

1967 Maserati Ghibli once owned by Edsel Ford, II |
1966 Plymouth Belvedere factory 426 Hemi, build sheet |
It's another great week for project cars on our website. Look at the selection. It doesn't get any better than this. A 1951 Ford Woody Wagon (shown above left) is offered by a private collector in Mundelein, Illinois. He says it needs a rear seat, windows and all the wood. But what a worthy subject for a restoration. Next (above center) is a rare 1967 Maserati Ghibli, a very desirable exotic sports car. This one will be worth more than others because it is said to have been a prototype that was owned by Edsel Ford, II. Wow! It's hard to estimate the value of this one if it were restored ... $120,000 ? $130,000 ? It is being offered by Beverly Hills Car Club in Beverly Hills, California. They tend to cater to a very special clientele. This is the fourth Ghibli they've sold this year. And Mopar lovers will have to check their heart monitor when they view this 1966 Plymouth Hemi Belvedere that was listed out of West York, Pennsylvania. What a find! The seller says it comes with its factory 426 Hemi motor, automatic transmission and a broadcast sheet.

It looks like this will become a regular feature of our newletter posts. If you have been watching this newsletter the past few weeks you know that many sellers are lowering their prices to where they can get some cash out of their cars. As an example, look at this 1935 Chevy Sedan Delivery from Placentia, California. The seller says it has won many Best of Show awards and
is actually a very rare car in its own right. Only 538 of these sedan deliveries were orignally produced. He notes that it has a steel body with glass fenders, new oak wood side frame, tan leather with suede headliner, tilt wheel, air conditioning, wood dash, SS grille by Dan Fink, independent front suspension, Ford rear end and a performance crate motor with 3X2 carbs. The seller was asking $60,000 for this steel delivery. It has a PRICE REDUCED tag on the ad today because the asking price is now only $50,000.

The 1968 Eleanor Mustang (shown above right) is not Mineral gray but does have the famous resto mod body similar to the movie car. You'll find the driver quality resto mod listed today in our Mustang Section online.
Here are a few more fascinating muscle car clones from this week:

DEAL OF THE DAY
PREVIEWIn the popular DEAL of the DAY preview we give you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY "rear view mirror" seen daily on the Cars On Line home page. Our fans wait eagerly each day to see which bargains will be highlighted. But often these cars sell right here in the preview. If you aren't a newsletter subscriber you'll never know what you're missing. Newsletter readers are able to preview the best bargains on our website right here in the DEAL of the DAY feature. You'll always see it here first.
Pinch yourself, you may have just found the car of your dreams. A 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible was listed from Chicago, Illinois. According to the description this GTO is a
low mileage, California convertible, a true 242 VIN code survivor that was built in Fremont, California. The seller says it has a rare California XE code 389 engine with smog equipment and 2-speed Powerglide transmission. He says the engine and drivetrain are numbers matching. Check out the undercarriage. He says you won't be disappointed. And the previous owner told him the mileage was 63,000 original miles. However, he says he can't verify that. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is only $26,995 ... for a GTO Convertible!
Ideal Classic Cars in Sarasota, Florida listed a 1942 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup truck this week. We were surprised how nice this body style work truck has been maintained. Just look at the
photos. Ideal seems to think that the truck is a living, breathing time machine. How else would you explain how this truck has survived looking this good. You must realize that this is an unrestored truck which they believe to be very original. With that in mind it is in surprising shape. For the uninitiated that means this one is probably driver class quality. Don't expect a restored show truck now. But to find one like this puts a little song in a collector's heart. We will feature it in our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. The asking price is only $14,983.
Newsletter readers know that classic Ford F100 Pickups are about the hottest thing on the classic car market right now (next to muscle cars that is.)
There is just something about old trucks, when they are in good shape, that reminds you of the good ole days. This week Kassabian Motors in Dublin, California listed this 1970 Ford F100 Fleetside long bed truck that looks pretty good in the photos. It has the late '60s to early '70s two-tone look, yellow and white with a white interior. There are a few miles on the old girl. But she doesn't look worn out. We figure it should be our DEAL of the DAY next week. The seller is only asking $10,995.
Don't forget! Have these vehicles inspected before you buy. One man's great opportunity is another man's nightmare. You have to know if the car is right for you. See the Cars On Line Inspection Service at http://www.cars-on-line.com/insp-1stpg.html
We always check to see if there are any really nicely prized Corvettes for sale each week. Were we blown away when we spotted a 2004 Corvette Silver Coupe that was listed by a private
seller in Clemens, North Carolina. He says it does have 63k miles on it which depreciates it somewhat. It is silver with black leather interior. He says it has the sport memory seats, dual zone air conditioning and automatic transmission. This was the last year that they produced the C6 Corvette. It comes with chrome wheels and Michelin tires, according to the description. He says it is very nice and that everything works. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week. You just don't see nice ones in this price range. The asking price is $19,500.
This 1971 Chevy Nova was so sweet we had to show it to you here. It was posted for sale by Coyote Classics in Greene, Iowa. Our newsletter readers know that Coyote Classics has a niche market there in Iowa where they buy their cars right and sell right. You know that this
Nova is not an SS, but it does have some SS equipment. They say the Cortez Silver paint look great over a straight body. The muscle car is powered by a 350 small block with a 4-barrel, headers, dual exhaust and backed up by a smooth shifting 4-speed. They point out that you'll see brand new correct black strato bucket seats on the inside, along with the great looking Hurst shifter. Note the SS hood, emblems and SS wheels. This one looks so good I think you'd better hurry if you want a shot at it. It will be in our DEAL of the DAY feature on the front page of our site. The asking price is only $15,995. Click here to view a video on this '71 Nova.
An impressive looking classic car was listed out of West Covina, California which seems to have been preserved in "as original" form. The 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 you see here is in
very nice condition, according to the seller. He says he bought the car from an elderly gentleman who had done a frame-up nut and bolt restoration on the car. He said the guy either replaced of rebuilt everything on the car, including the 216 ci 6 cylinder motor and 3-speed column shifted transmission, all gone through and now runs like it did in '39. According to the ad description, all the electricals, wipers, gauges and aftermarket turn signals work. He says the whole interior is tastefully done with tan mohair. It will be in our DEAL of the DAY feature on the front page of our site this week. The asking price is only $15,500.
Don't forget! Have these cars inspected before you buy. One man's great opportunity is another man's nightmare. You have to know if the car is right for you. See the Cars On Line Inspection Service at http://www.cars-on-line.com/insp-1stpg.html
Newsletter readers know that we often point out how hard it is to find Chevelle and Olds Cutlass convertibles in this modern day. That's why we were excited to see this 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible offered for sale out of Mercer, Pennsylvania. Sure, this is
considered a driver class car, but the seller says it runs very well, and is a very solid car from the dry desert southwest. He says all the chrome is in very nice condition, with factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, functional power top (needs to be replaced) and front bench seat with fold-down arm rest. The seller says it has the heart and soul of an Olds 442 with 400 ci engine (C heads), 400 turbohydramatic transmision and a 12-bolt positraction rearend all out of wrecked '67 442. It will be in our DEAL of the DAY feature on the front page of our site. The asking price is only $8,750.
