When it comes to the look of luxury, nothing compares to the
classic bodylines found only on vintage Buicks. This 1948 Buick
Convertible combines the classic look with the modern conveniences
to create a one of a kind look. It is coated in beautiful Black
paint with cream pinstriping throughout. With chrome bumpers
and a grill like this you certainly don't want to get in its
way! All of the exterior trim and emblems are in place and look
like new. It has a great stance and rides on classic wheels with
1957 Cadillac hubcaps and Coker white wall radial tires. The
black convertible power top works and looks like new. It was
recipient of the Goodguys Cool Convertible award in 2005, 2007,
and 2009 as shown in the Goodguys Gazette magazine.
The LT-1 Street Performance engine powers this classic down
the road with ease. Everywhere you look there is a billet bracket
or chromed component to catch your eye. The aluminum radiator
is in place to keep the car running cool at all times. The 700R
transmission shifts smoothly and in perfect sync. It has a great
tone due to the Flow Master exhaust and idles incredibly smoothly.
The rear end is from out of a 85 Trans Am and the updated front
end from a 74 Nova.
The fully leather interior is absolutely gorgeous and is the
epitome of the word luxurious. It was completed in a beautiful
cream color and was professionally done by renowned custom interior
designer Paul Atkins. The TEA rear seats with buckets in front
are extremely comfortable and make any drive enjoyable. The dash
is finished out in wood grain with all Dakota Digital gauges.
The wood grain accents continue into the door and are also found
on the custom steering wheel by Colorado Custom and the custom
center console.
