Corvette Convertible. This vehicle was professionally built by Jeg Automotive, a high performance automotive shop in Delaware, Ohio, at a cost of approximately $80,000. A no expense spared buildup with every component new GM off their shelves. Very few of these were built and this is one of the highest quality fiberglass kits available.
The Corvette body is a high quality, hand laid fiberglass kit retailing for $15,000.
Frame and chassis is a stock Corvette Sub-frame; Corvette 10 bolt GM rear end; Sway bars and Stamped steel GM Wheels w/original 1953 Hubcaps.
Interior has high quality VDO Gauge Package; Reproduction Vinyl Upholstery; Original Cut-Pile Style Carpeting and Air Conditioning.
Engine was built with new block, GM Goodrench 350 V-8 crate motor with approx. 275 horsepower; fuel injection with a TH-350 3 speed auto transmission. PS & PB.
Corvette is Registered and Titled as a 1953 Corvette in Arizona with 3,800 Certified Miles.
This kit is a replica of one of the rarest Corvettes ever made. To the classic appeal, the modern body is made so similar that it would actually fit the true 53-55 Corvette frame. This is the right car to replicate with such precision it is better than the original. The 1953 Corvette is one of a kind. Will Consider Trade.
