| Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible. This is a beautiful car that is a great driver. Color is Red w/white top and interior. Body is original and straight, but this isn't a matching numbers car. Engine would've been a 283, but is now a rebuilt 350 with under 10,000 miles -- with Power Glide Transmission. I've owned the car for 3+ yrs. It was professionally inspected 3yrs ago by Stasek Chevrolet's Classic Car team in Wheeling, IL. They had said it was "very clean" and a "great find" - thoroughly inspected - and any work was done by their classic auto staff. Car was trailered for work, which included new alternator, battery and rewired. Since then, it's just been slight tune-ups. Interior is clean, normal wear. I took it to a custom shop for high-end stereo that has a retro-face radio that is digital - ipod dock in glove box, custom speakers in molding under dash and two speakers attached to frame of backseat. Trunk has a Jensen pre-amp. The body is clean. The only body work we could find was a small patch on the right side of trunk that does not show from outside. The car is very clean underneath, too. There is minor rust spotting in the trunk. It's only on the surface and just needs to get cleaned up. Roof has a cosmetic-tear in the back above window, but it doesn't leak. Wheels are chrome mags. Have installed seat belts in front and rear. The car was found in great condition in IL (garaged) and has continued to be garage-kept and well taken care of.
