Chevy Custom Coupe. This is no doubt one of the finest 37 Chevy's currently in existence. All original steel body with no rust ever. All body panels are completely original. The only added components to the coupe's exterior were the smoothie running boards. Black finish is straight and super shiny. This vehicle has had a complete professional "body-off" restoration. The original rust-free frame was kept and sandblasted, and new independent front suspension with tubular A-frames and rack and pinion steering was added. The rear suspension was converted to newer-style GM leaf spring with a GM 10-bolt rear end. The front uses coil over suspension. Undercarriage is immaculate and show-ready. Featuring stainless lines, painted and smoothed frame, and billet accessories. The engine was a professionally-built 355 Chevy with all forged steel internals, 10.5:1 compression, balanced, Trick Flow aluminum cylinder heads, Comp Cams cam kit, and Holly Pro Fuel injection system. All billet accessories. The transmission is a Corvette 700R4 Overdrive professionally rebuilt with a 2800 stall JW torque converter. All shift points were set for best drivability and maximum performance. The rear end has posi-traction and 373 ratio. Car cruises up and down the road with impeccable performance, handling, and ride comfort and is very mannerly in traffic. The coupe runs cool, but when it's time to have fun, sheer performance is available. The interior was tastefully done without cutting anything and taking away from the originality of the coupe. Billet inserts were used for all upgrades. All instrumentation works perfectly. The custom sound system was also professionally done and is phenomenal. This car can be driven anywhere in complete comfort and has the quality of cars seen at Barrett-Jackson auto auctions. This is a must-see car.
