Shelby Cobra 351C. Midstates (now Shell Valley/Midstates) 427SC, steel reinforced, fiberglass body. Built and titled in 1993, less than 3000 total miles. Stored since 1998, recently recovered to support a local, charity car show.
Blueprint and balanced Cleveland, 30 over-bore to 358ci, milled and decked for 10:1 compression. TRW flat-top pistons, CompCams roller tip rocker valve train and 270 degree duration cam. Holley 750 on a Edlebrock Performer RPM dual plane manifold. Hays aluminum flywheel and Ford RUG-OD toploader 4-speed. Hurst Indy shifter reconfigured to shorten linkage, placing shifter at easy access.
Coil-over (Koni) front and (Aldan) rear shocks. Fabricated front suspension by RCC Specialty Products (Fort Worth). Rear 4 link with Panhard suspension by Rick?s Racecraft (Aurora, IL) controlling Ford 9-inch with Motorsport Trac-Loc and 3.5:1 Richmond gears. Compomotive Wheels in Halibrand pattern.
Four Wheel Disc Brakes, (Wilwood Front, Lincoln Rear) Tilton triple master cylinder overhung pedal assembly (third is for hydraulic control of the Centerforce Clutch).
Handcrafted saddle tan leather interior, dropped footwells for taller driver, Mahogany dash with VDO gages, comes with soft top and side curtains.
