1928 Whippet Hot Rod|
Whippet Hot Rod. The body is all metal and is similiar to the Model A. I have been told by some of the viewers it was called the "poor man's Model A". The overall condition is good- body is straight and good paint- interior is clean ( not show quality)- engine and trans are rebuilt but do not have paperwork on them. It has a mustang 2 front end with disc brakes and modular 9" ford rear end with drums. - we reworked the door with new oak- glass is good and new oak floor pan with carpet over. Engine is a V-6 out of a ford pinto with C-4 3spd trans that pushes it down the road very nice- it will do 80mph, just hold on because it does not weigh very much. Sounds good has a dual exhaust crossover system. Good tires and brakes are fairly new. We drive it maybe 200+ miles a year and have it serviced before we take it out. It has the original gas tank in the rear. Chrome is all redone and roof is clean. NO SCAMS- NOT you over pay me and I ship it to you- If you have any questions let me know I will email you back. I would prefer cash instead of trades but it never hurts to ask- We are moving on to new projects and I know I will regret selling this one as you do not see these very often. Thanks for your time.
