(Motor built to run on pump gas!) RUST FREE OKLAHOMA SHELL FIBERGLASS HOOD, FENDERS, BUMPERS, TRUNK LID! REAR SEAT DELETE, COVERED WITH FIBERGLASS FINISH PANEL LEXAN QAURTER WINDOWS, This is a re-creation of an AFX car that was built for street (and strip) use! There is extraordinary attention to detail and authenticity to this build using all circa-correct components and parts.lightweight fiberglass fenders, hood , glass trunk lid, glass bumpers, glass rear seat delete panel, and lexan quarter windows. Body is painted 1969 Ford "Grabber Green" with a frost white top DRIVETRAIN: Engine is an FE 428 cu., C8ME-A casting #, Standard bore/stroke, Ross forged pistons, .577 lift hydraulic cam, gear drive, COAE interceptor heads, all oiling mods, remote dual filters, torque link, aluminum radiator, Hi-flow water pump, electric fan,1 wire alternator, Period correct chromed "Mercury "lettered valve covers, vintage polished C3AE-K 427 dual quad intake with Holley 625's, Mallory dual point dizzy, Crites 2'' primary headers, high torque starter, 3'' exhaust with cutouts and period Cherry Bombs. Engine runs cool, no issues. Motor will run on 93-octane gas. Transmission is a NEW Jackson Racing C-6 with a reverse manual valve body, and deeper pan with cooler and electric fan. Converter is a 3000-rpm stall. Rear is a 9" with 31 spline Moser race axles, and a very snug traction lock with 3.70 gears.MISC: Wheels are chrome steelies 15x4 fronts and 15x8 rears with Goodyear frontrunners (26'') and M&H racemasters (26x10.5) out back. Fronts are nice used, backs are new. Manual Disc brakes (Granada) front, 11" Drums out back. All brake hardware is new. New urethane bushings in the front end.Car has about 100 miles on it since it was put together, it has trophied at several shows and is in the Dec.2008 issue of Car Craft magazine (CC NATIONALS coverage) Please email for more info!
