1964 Dodge Polara Convertible|
Dodge Polara Convertible. This was an original black true CA car (no rust). It was recently converted to a near period perfect late 60's super stocker. It has a 440 +30 over motor built right - have specs, vintage Cal Custom valve covers, intake is a rare Chrysler number 2531960 with spacer, Holley 750 Dominator, rare Holley velocity stacks, Mopar high performance ignition with tac drive and chrome box, radiator is Chrysler number 2524972. Transmission is an aluminum 4 speed O.D. from a Dode truck, works great with the 489 case and 4.30 posi rear gears. Max wedge exhaust and 3" TTI pipes all the way back with cutouts as per factory. Rearend was changed to a 1966 B body adjustable axle with new super stock Eaton leaf springs. Front drums were converted to mopar discs. Interior was puchased from Layson's Restoration - includes seats, buns, door panels, carpet, convertible top cover and complete dash panel rechroming (absolutly perfect). Torque Thrust D wheels 7x15 rears and 4.5x15 fronts with Pro-Trac tires. In 8/07 chassis dyno was 393.5hp @ 5,793 rpm and Torque 402.4 @ 4,515 rpm. No convertible top by choice, mechanism works perfect. Chrome, stainless, and aluminum is like new. Less than 1000 miles since restoration.
