Corvette Coupe . Monaco Orange VIN 194379S738266, last of 500 built in 69.
If you have been looking for a 69 big block for fun now and a vette you can do up your way, this is a very good example. I have the build sheet, and the list follows: L-36 390-HP TURBO JET V8 M-21 4 SPEED CLOSE-RATIO TRANSMISSION POSITRACTION 3:70 AXLE POWER BRAKES POWER STEERING TILT-TELESCOPIC STEERING WHEEL This is a very nice condition driver. The original 390 has long ago disappeared. It now has a 454. The mileage I believe is correct at 63,000. Mostly original. Everything is in good operational condition. I have traced history back to the early 80s and the motor has not shown up. The owners from the late 70s refuse to talk to me, and were of no help locating the original motor. I have hearsay speculation the motor was pulled and used for racing. The car has not had a lot of use for the last 20 years. The interior is original with the exception of the carpet. The seats should be redone, but can be uses as is. The door panels are also original and in great shape with no armrest cracking. Driver panel has two very small rub defects where it contacts the doorjamb. The windows are fine but could use glass polishing to remove scratches. The windshield also has some wiper scratch marks but is original. I have replacement soft seals for everything but the rear window. The paint is original orange color, and the repaint was done about 20 plus years ago. It still presents very well. The body has minor modifications. Hard to detect unless you have a sharp eye. Including a GM L-88 hood. The axle is a new 4:11 with HD cover. Give me a call if you are serious about buying a great car at a reasonable price.
