Chevy Apache 4X4 . Shortbed Fleetside 4x4
Drivetrain out of a 1988 Suburban, and rebuilt before being put into this project. This truck has only 2,500 miles since the rebuild 6 years ago. Rebuilt 350 motor, and an automatic transmission. New exhaust, brakes, radio, vintage air and heat, sunvisor, and a Dakota digital dash. Big back window. Over $30K in receipts.
This truck was completely rebuilt in 2002. Unfortunately for me it was too tall to fit in my garage, and has sat outside in the weather for 6 years. It has only been driven 2,500 miles so the only abuse it has had is from Mother Nature. Truthfully, the truck is no longer in show truck condition. It would probably be considered a ten-footer. It is still a very nice truck and could easily be in show condition with just a little work. I have priced this truck after carefully considering the imperfections. I realize that I am losing money on my toy, but I simply cannot stand to see this once beautiful truck sit out in the elements and deteriorate any longer. More pictures upon request.
