Chevelle SS . 454 in show quality condition throughout. This is a real, documented triple black SS 396 that was changed to LS-5 specs after the original engine was replaced in 1989 with a GM counter replacement. This car retains much of the original sheet metal and has original floor pans. The body has had one repaint in the original color of Tuxedo Black with white stripes.
The engine is built using all forged internals and a retro fit hydraulic roller cam. GM heads, intake, Quadrajet carb and stock GM accessories have been installed for a factory correct look.
The undercarriage has been completely detailed. Suspension components have been powder coated and correct factory markings and tags replaced. New brake lines, fuel lines, and emergency brake cables have been installed. Every clip, bolt, fastener, and bushing has been replaced or replated. The Muncie M22 shifts flawlessly and the rebuilt 12 bolt rear has 3:31 gears. The interior is fitted with Legendary covers and panels and the dash is completely restored. Car includes many rare factory options. This beautiful car is well built, dependable, and a consistent trophy winner.
