Oldsmobile Hurst . I am selling a true piece of muscle car history. I have owned this car with my father for the past 10 years. He puchased his Originally new back in 1969, but had to sell it in 1979 due to my mother's nagging about the car. I bought this one for him in 1999 for fathers day. Over the years I have found out alot about the car. I have the title history from 1984 - present. The car is a very early built H/O believed to be #9 of the first 10 pre-production cars built.This was
told to me
by the guy who restored the car in 1984 and by the original dash plaque stating H/O-9 Built for Hurst Performance Research. The original motor was replaced in 1984 with a period correct 455 block with the original D heads, Air Cleaner, Intake&Exhaust Manifolds. The car does have the correct cowl tag 930 trim & 50/50 paint codes (H/O only) with a Vin# of 344879Mxxxxxx
Since I have owned the car here is a list of what I have done:
* 6/2/02 - Radiator & Waterpump
* 7/14/03 - Rebuilt Motor, Heads & Trans
* 8/5/06 - Starter & Alternator
* 8/12/06 - New Springs & New Goodyear Polyglas tires
* 8/17/06 - New emblems, hoodsprings, wheel emblems & headlight housings
* 9/1/06 - Recovered front seats ( Not headrest,still original)
* 8/17/07 - Rechromed front & rear bumpers
* 8/17/07 - New Exhaust, brake booster, master cylinder
* 8/17/07 - Complete car stripped to bare metal and repainted with all new decals
This car is a very clean driver condition car.
