This original "A" Code, rust free, California fastback has been freshly recreated as a Hertz Rent A Racer. Only 996 were produced for the Hertz rental fleet. This car was restored to exacting standards to recreate this supercharged 350H and with the Supercharger "accessory", increased the horsepower from just over 300 to 406 horsepower, so this pony is FAST. Nothing is left undone on this magnificent car, even a signed Shelby glove box door. Painstakingly rebuilt to K Code specs, (hydraulic cam), exhaust manifolds, brakes, Shelby oil pan, brake master cylinder and valve covers. Original Motorcraft four barrel carburetor with very rare, original period correct, Paxton supercharger. Red Koni style shocks with Shelby style traction bars and lowered Shelby suspension done correctly. Functional rear brake cooling scoops. The Sickens base coat, clear coat paint, was hand color sanded with such a mirror finish you can see the reflection of Catalina on a clear day. Added audio inputs for ipod and CD, this car has it all. Own a Shelby GT for a fraction of the price and don't be afraid to drive her anywhere.
