AMC AMX . Here is a great example of an unmolested mostly original AMX. Options include 390, ram air, go pack (power disc brake delete), leather seats, tilt wheel, luggage rack, twin chrome mirrors, machine wheels, fold down arm rest, bumper guards, tinted glass and AM-FM radio. The 390 has a fresh rebuild with less than 500 miles on it and runs great. The engine was bored .30 over, balanced, Keith Black flat top pistons making the compression 10 to 1, Comp Cams #10-203-4 with .480 lift and 224 @ .050 duration, 110 separation. Crank was turned .010 and .010. Air cleaner lid, valve covers and oil breather all new "show chrome". All numbers are correct for the car. Transmission shifts great, The car has 315 to 1 gears in the posi rear end so its great on the highway turning 3000 RPM at 70MPH. The interior still has the original seat covers (showing some wear), headliner, door panels,interior trim pieces and perfect rim blow steering wheel that works. Dash has some flaws in the woodgrain overlay and two cracks in plastic near "hang on" handle. Gauges are excellent and all work except clock and the speedo needle bounces at low speed. Radio still works great. Car has had one repaint that shows great with a few road chips and one small door ding on passenger side door that didn't even scratch the paint. The trunk is just like it left the factory yesterday. All steel is original with no rust issues. Underneath is factory original with some red overspray from repaint. Glass is excellent with the exception of what looks like ice scraper marks on windshied that can't be seen while driving. Exaust system is new.
