1968 Pontiac Firebird |
Pontiac Firebird . This car was originally sold at Delta Pontiac in Stockton, California. To the best of my knowledge, the car was originally purchased by Margurete Fouts. The California department of motor vehicles told me that it appeared to be the same owner as far as the records went back. The car was then purchased from Ms. Fouts estate in 2002 by a muscle car dealer in Michigan and was subsequently sold to a Mr. Leonard in Kentucky which meticulously did a complete body off, concourse restoration of the car. Mr. Leonard subsequently sold the car to a muscle car dealer in St. Louis from whom I purchased the car in 2005. Every portion of this car has been restored to original condition and the work is considered concourse quality. To the extent possible all parts were NOS if available. By far this has got to be the most beautiful and documented 1968 Firebird 400 in existence. The car has been documented by the Pontiac Historical Society to be as built with the exception of the white letter tires and the wood sport steering wheel. I also retain the original build sheet on the car.
