Pontiac Firebird . Complete restoration (not frame off) in 1987. I have owned the vehicle since 1979. During the restoration rear quarter panels were replaced with new GM panels and the original engine was overhauled with all new components. The powerglide transmission is believed to be the original numbers matching transmission which came with the vehicle. The interior is all new including carpet seat covers and dash pad. The original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket AM/FM cassette player, however the dash has not been modified in anyway. Speakers have been installed in the rear deck as visable in the pictures. Also the car has never been in an accident. Options and original equipment include. Engine Pontiac 326, transmission Powerglide, Tilt Steering Wheel, Column Mount Shifter, Split Bench Seat with fold down arm rest. The car has never been driven in the rain since the restoration; it has been stored and covered in a climate controlled garage. The car has won many local trophies.
