1967 Oldsmobile 442 |
Oldsmobile 442 . Original 442, not a clone. Original 4 speed, correct original color (Crystal Blue – code D). Freshly rebuilt engine. Original 400 has been replaced with a vintage 455 (396021F 68-72) with over $4000 in receipts, original C heads, original TH 3.90 posi rearend, correct 7027156 67 carb. This car is a number 3, nice driver. It has fresh paint. It had new sheetmetal put into the lower quarters and trunk many years ago. The car was repainted do to paint condition, not rust. Floors and frame solid. The car shows 62,000 miles on the odometer. I was told they are original, but have no documentation. Outside of the paint and engine, it would appear to be fairly accurate judging from the interior and chassis condition. To make it really nice it would need little details such as seat backs dyed, new dash pad, weatherstriping, different coil, correct air cleaner, bumpers rechromed, etc. It is a great car for the money. Perfect entry level, true muscle car.
