1964 Dodge Polara 500 Convertible

Dodge Polara 500 Convertible. This is an original, rust free, solid, dry California car. All body, paint, mechanical, interior, stainless and chrome trim has been restored to original condition and better than new. This car had an original big block 383 and recreated into an original 1964 426 Max Wedge Stage three car. This is a factory original Max Wedge engine, not a 383, 413,or 440 made to "Look Like" a Max Wedge. Block casting #2406780, (Oct. 1963), Head Casting #2406518, Intake Casting #2402728. The engine has been completely rebuilt and reconditioned with only 2000 miles. It has the factory original and correct Carter 3705 carburetors and original style air cleaners on a Max Wedge cross-ram intake manifold. Original mileage on the car is 32,350! This car has a correct Max Wedge exhaust system with the proper 3" cut-outs and exhaust manifolds. All steering, suspension, and brakes are new. The 8 3/4 Sure Grip (Positraction) 3:55 differential has been completely reconditioned. The 727 Torqueflite transmission has had a new custom high performance replacement. All the engine accessories, distributor, alternator, belts, hoses, and motor and transmission mounts are new. It also has a newly re-conditioned 4-core Radiator. Runs cool and has never overheated! No oil leaks! The car comes with original American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with brand new 15's on the front and brand new 245 60R 15's on the rear.
