Mustang McLaren Convertible. This is a very rare Mclaren Mustang Convertible, it has only 13,000 actual miles. It is painted porsche gaurds red which was the correct mcclaren color for 1987. I am attaching a production figure brakdown form mcclaren that shows that this is one of only 75 made in 1987 with this color combination. It currently has 4 brand new 17" chrome cobra r wheels and 4 brand new tires, the buyer of theis car is also going to get the original gold laced mcclaren wheels and tires. We just removed them and they are in mint condition, i will include a picture of them.
This car was sold new on august 13th of 1987 to the brother of a current ohio senator. It was kept in the family untill this year when it was traded in on a brand new saleen mustang. We have a ton of original paperwork including the original temp tag, ownercard, and all of the books. We also have a typewritten window sticker on the original selling dealers letterhead that shows all the options and the original sticker price of $24,566.00.
This car is in prestine condition, it has been garage kept since new and has only logged a little over 500 miles per year!! This is an investment grade classic car that will only continue to increase in value.
Back in 1987 the mclaren package alone cost $11,500!!
