M009 Military Blazer. Came from a base in
Georgia. Heavy duty 3/4 ton model. Dual batteries and
alternators. Heavy Duty automatic transmission and
suspension. 6.2 diesel has 120k and runs strong.
Almost all miles were interstate highway miles. Block
heater. Pump was completely rebuilt at 100k miles.
Brand new military transfer case. Original cameo paint
job and markings. Frame was sprayed with C.A.R.C.
which is a military rust inhibitor, and is in
excellent shape. Functional "Blackout Drive", gun
racks, radio mount. Aftermarket items include rotating
light bar (Lights are no good), lift kit, Rancho
suspension, deep dish 6-bolt wheels. Removeable top.
This vehicle starts easily and runs strong. The only
thing wrong with it, is that it needs a complete front
floor and rockers. Other body work needed is minimal.
This is an authentic military vehicle, that is really
impressive when you put 33"-35" tires on it. I traded
the big tires for smaller ones to make it ride nicer.
Would make an excellent plowing, hunting, or rescue
vehicle. If you are into re-enactments, this vehicle
is also ideal. I have owned this vehicle for about 10
years, and it has been completely dependable. I am
selling because it is not being driven because of
health reasons. Payment must be in cash at time of
pickup.
