Shelby GT350 Tribute. 68 Mustang convertible built as a GT350. Original Red Converible with all Shelby fiberglass, trim, rollbar, wheels, Lucas lamps, emblems, engine dressing and interior trim, including cobra console (with gauges) and steering wheel. Truely looks like a Shelby GT350. It is a beautiful car for a fraction of the cost of a real one.
It has new exterior chrome including: handles, bumpers, shelby badges, and including new vent window frames, chrome headlight trim (just like a Shelby), and a new Shebly GT350 gas cap... New wheel arch molding and new rocker moldings. And of course, all new weatherstripping on the doors and the convertible top. The convertible top is in excellent condition, no tears and a clear rear window.
On the inside, Shelby type woodgrained steering wheel and Cobra emblem. Shelby console with gauges (that work). New chrome instrument bezels with new wood graining. New carpets and door panels. The correct Shebly rear panels. Original AM radio that works.
New quarters, new doors, and rust free OEM fenders. The body is very nice on the car. Hundreds of hours went into making the fiberglass fit nice. Correct fiberglass hing springs. The paint is a beautiful candy apple red basecoat/clear coat. This car started life as a factory red car, so all the corners are red. Has the correct convertible roll bar for 68 GT350.
302 engine with power steering and power brakes. New Mallory electronic distributor, new edlebrok intake and carb, rebuilt alternator, new 4 core radiator, regulator, and new hoses. All new front wiring, including headlight harness ($300), engine harness and alternator harness. New exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and new H-pipe and stock exhaust manifolds to make it look right. Rebuilt front end with new shocks. It also has new rear shackles and bushings.
New Shebly 10 spooke wheels with Cobra center caps and brand new BF Goodrich tires. New gas tank... new transmission lines...the list of new part just goes on and on.
