Jaguar XJS Convertible. This car has been part of my collection of autos since February 1994. I purchased it as a one-owner car from Scottsdale Jaguar in Scottsdale AZ. It was purchased new at Scottsdale Jag and then traded for a new Jag. It had 26K miles in February 1994 and now has 36,000 miles. I doubt if there is a nicer 1989 XJS anywhere. The car is 100% original, never any damage and is absolutely impeccable. It has always been serviced by the book and has four new high speed tires.
The 1989 XJS is the first year for the factory convertible and the main reason I wanted to find one starting in 1993. Everything works perfectly and the car drives like new. The convertible top and interior headliner are as new and the interior still smells like new. The car has never been smoked in and has no dings anywhere. I have the car insured with Hagerty Insurance (i.e.: Collector Car Insurance Company)for a stated value of $28,000. It is what they recommended per the Old Cars Price Guide.
The car has always been stored in a climate controlled setting and has all original papers, manuals. etc.
