This is a Cars On Line.com Generation Slideshow Ad
Camaro Z-28 RS . LT. 73 was the only year you could get a Z28 with a Rally Sport and LT package. This was also the first year for the LT package which replaced the SS package due to horsepower cutbacks. Chevrolet wanted the package to be know so they made the LT emblems take precidence over all other emblems including Z28 and Rally Sport. Because this car has all three packages it only wears LT emablems, thats right this car never had Z28 emblems and it is correct that way. this is the last year for the very desirable split bumper front end. Everything has been done on this car. The engine is the original numbers matching 350 C.I 245 H.P L82, this was the first year that the solid lifter LT1 was replaced with the L82. No decking or restamps. The block is .030 and the crank is .010. Factory 202 heads with screw in studs and guide plates. The cam is a bit better than stock. all of the engine components are numbers matching from carb to pan. It includes the original manifolds and smog equipment. There are about 800 miles on a full rebuild. The trans is a M-21 and is also numbers matching. It also has a complete rebuild. The rear end is also original to the car and has been completely redone. The car is a west coast car and had no rust. The floors and trunk were as solid as a rock. The body panels are original except for the front fenders and the hood. The fenders were replaced with GM originals due to some bad dents. The car was professionally painted with PPG base/clear, The color is the original silver with black stripes and the modern paint was color matched to the original tint. The interior is all new deluxe black comfort weave. The door panels are original to the car and perfect. The car has brand new 2 1/2 inch stainless exhaust from Flowmaster with the crossover pipe and it sounds great. This car is beautiful and needs nothing. The chrome is near flawless. It underwent a full frame off restoration a year ago and it looks like it was done yesterday. The urethane nose was replaced with a GM NOS original. Everything works. It runs and drives excellent. Lots of power but no need to use HI-PO fuel, it runs perfect on regular unleaded. It has the original AM/FM radio and it works perfectly. Has rear defrost. Has tilt steering.
