Mercury Cyclone . RESTORED, 428 CJ, RARE; Q CODE 3, 261 built in ?69. At the start of the ?69 selling season two versions of the Cyclone were cataloged, the base model and the CJ, which comes from the 428 Cobra Jet v-8. Conservatively rated at 335hp at 5,200rpm, was an attempt to avoid insurance surcharges. This beauty has gone through a complete ground up rebuild. Was stripped to the bone, and brought back to its glory. Engine, C6 auto tranny, and rear end have all been rebuilt. This baby has been driven less than 100 miles since rebuild. Marti documented (1 of 8) produced in this color combo,probably the only one left, and 1 of 307 with the 428 cj and optional automatic. P/S, Power Brakes, This is a matching #'s car.
