Collectors will appreciate the opportunity to bid on this 1968 Shely GT350 Convertible. On Thursday the Ford Motor Company released its third-quarter earnings, reporting net income dropped to $957 million, down 56 percent from a year ago. The company said its North American operation suffered from weaker sales, higher recall expenses, and product-launch costs of its new Super Duty pickup truck. Ford plans to trim production of the F-150 in the fourth quarter and will idle one shift next week at a plant in Kansas City, Missouri to reduce inventories of the truck. The F-150 is Ford’s best-selling vehicle and one of its most profitable models.

A Wisconsin Mopar collector was extremely pleased with the service he received when he advertised on Cars On Line.com. He sold his 1970 Dodge T/A Challenger thru his Run Till Sold ad. "Service worked very well! Had several inquiries," said Les after marking his 1970 Dodge T/A Challenger SOLD! The T/A survivor was in unrestored original condition ... original sheet metal, paint, interior, stripes, vinyl top and under-coating as built in 1970.

"You won't find another one like this," said Classical Gas Motors when they listed this 1955 Chevy Nomad Custom Wagon for sale. They think so much of this beautiful custom creation that they did a special video about it. Click here to view the video now. Classical Gas says this one is "flawless." The Candy Apple Red body and silver top really pop in the sunlight. Just listen to the low rumble in the engine. It is powered by a built up LS7 motor as used in the Z06's and even the C6 Corvette American Le Mans series race car. The interior is all set for a modern ride with video screen next to Bel Air graphics. Chrome hinges, custom firewall, and a custom engine cover are just 3 of the 100s of custom items mentioned in the ad. The interior was done by the famous Paul Atkins. It is obvious this one was built to show. Here is a chance to own a top quality show car that will win every time.

The DEAL of the DAY preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be featured in the DEAL of the DAY section on the Cars On Line home page. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the home page! You'll always see them here first though.
When the 1953 Studebaker Starlight Coupe came out back in the day it was the most aerodynamic automotive design ever seen. Although not appreciated enough by the buying public to boost Studebaker into the company of the Big Three automotive makers, it was a stunning example of Yankee ingenuity. Today these Studebaker aerodynamic coupes are a perfect base for ground breaking custom creations. Here is a '53 being offered for sale by Brandon Classics on St Simons Island, Georgia. Even Hurricane Mathew couldn't mess with this beauty. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is only $18,900.
I'm willing to bet you have never seen a 1927 Doge Brothers Pickup quite like this one before. One of our newest members of the Cars On Line Dealer Network, Railroad Pass Show Cars from Henderson, Nevada, has listed this one for sale this week. You can see it has been recently restored. It's a little bit of old and a little bit of custom. They say it is a fun truck to drive and show. They also indicate that all the components work as they should on this old school ride. It even has the wood spoke wheels. Only back in the day they never looked this nice. This is a respectable ride at a very nice price. Be sure to check it out before it hits our front page in the DEAL of the DAY feature on Sunday. The price is $12,000. You can't match the quality for the price anywhere.
In the 1950's the Lincoln marque was respected as the "country club" crowd's personal choice. When you see this 1959 Lincoln Continental MK IV you begin to understand why. The elegant lines and dual front headlights were very sophisticated for its time. Orlando Classic Cars has this one for sale this weekend for a very nice price. Be sure to have it inspected, but hurry! They say it is a very clean South Carolina car, and comes with the 430 ci V8, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat and unique power "breezeway" rear window which lowers much like a station wagon of its day. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday because the asking price is $18,900.
The 1936 Plymouth P1 Slantback was a popular sedan in its day. Here is a modernized rendition of the model. A private owner from Monroe, Michigan tells us it has a 383 ci big block engine with an automatic transmission. It still has a soft top and it is a tudor model. There were only 667 of these P1's produced by Plymouth. Some say that only about 200 remain today. The Orange metallic paint contrasts a tan leather interior. This one might be a real find for the right collector who would appreciate its historical significance. It has an interesting spare tire kit on the back. This is more than a starter car, but it is priced as if it was just a starter car. Hurry. The asking price is only $18,500.
When we say Cadillac used to make big cars, we reallly mean "b-i-i-i-g." The old saying is that you could get six rednecks with shotguns in one of these. So a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was listed this week by Orlando Classic Cars. They specialize in great collector cars with low miles. How low? This one has just 44,000 on the odometer, they say. (Note: the title will say exempt for mileage so the seller cannot verify the miles except for the condition of the car as it sits.) It was last titled in 1982. The family owned a Cadillac dealership in Florida. You have to read the whole history in the ad. This one could easilly be brought back to show car level. It will be our DEAL of the DAY next week as the price is only $16,500.
Motorhomes are a different kind of "used car" buy. Often, if they have been kept up, they have low miles and run strong. So take a look at this 1998 Fleetwood Southwind 32-Ft Motorhome listed by a private seller from Newton, New Jersey. The seller says it has just 22,500 miles and is in excellent condition. He says you have to see it in person to see what a good deal this really is. It has a front slideout w/dinette and queen sofa bed, rear queen bed and full kitchen with Corian countertops. The description further details that it comes equipped with two roof AC's, ONAN 5500 generator (less than 400 hours), two TV's, Auto satellite DISH, 16' patio awning and awnings on all windows. Kind of like having a second home for just $22,000.
We often speculate on which cars will be "future collectibles." We figure almost all Camaros will be collectible in some form. Consider the IROC Camaros of the 1980's and 1990's. These were hot cars in their day. This week Eric's Muscle Cars out of Clarksburg, Maryland is offering a 1989 Camaro IROC-Z for sale at a very nice price point. They say it has a fresh paint job, new interior, Corvette aluminum heads and engine "tightened" and sealed. According to the ad copy it runs and drives great with two sets of wheels and tires. In the coming week you will see it in the Cars On Line DEAL of the DAY feature on the front page of the site. The asking price is $11,900.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
