Mazda RX-7 R-1. One of the finest R-1's you will ever find. 25000 miles on motor. Race bred and dyno tuned to perfection. Pettit Racing's first TKT car #0001. A very reliable 365hp at the wheels with none of the typical rotary problems (i.e.. overheating, 3000 RPM pause, etc.) Power is made from a street ported motor, 3mm apex seals, cold air intake, Pettit IC, Twin power ignition amplifier, 1300cc injectors, high output fuel pump, 10mm Magna Core wires, pulley kit, engine torque brace, Centerforce clutch, Power FC ECU with commander, 3" downpipe, 3" straight pipe with resonator, 3" Racing Beat catback, and kept cool with a Toyo aluminum radiator. All the FD tricks are on this car. Silicone hoses, 99 spec front lip, two fan mod switches (one for radiator fan and one for IC fan), aluminum scuff plates, 1100cca dry cell battery relocation, boost gauge, air/fuel gauge, and exhaust temp gauge. Interior peeling is a thing of the past with a completely refinished door and dash panels. It has an Efini steering wheel from Japan to match the Efini key and Efini badges along with a custom R-1 badge. The car has been lowered 1 1/4", slotted and dimpled rotors, rebuilt and painted calipers, stainless steel braided brake lines, SBR high temp fluid, and sits on 17" SSR competition wheels 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear with Bridgestone SO-3 tires. Quicker steering response along with greatly reduced wheel hop was achieved with a complete set of Unobtainium nylon bushings. There will be no disappointment with this car.It has been unmolested and keeps all the RX-7's original lines. It is one of the cleanest RX-7's you will find and had won first place in many shows. It has been unabused, spends most of it's life covered in my garage and has never seen rain. It has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and is not like any RX-7 you will find.
